Davone Bess 2013 Season Outlook

4 posts in this topic

Bess is the WR2 in Cleveland.

He has 17 receptions so far, which currently ranks him right around guys like Dez, Calvin and Reggie Wayne as of week 3.

He also handles punts on occasion.

He plays a banged up Cincy secondary this week with Hoyer throwing to him. May be a decent flex guy for those in ppr/return leagues.

interesting option this week ... looks like 3 db's are looking doubtful for Cincy, including Hall.

with Gordo and Cameron beasting, and warranting extra attention, coupled with no semblance of a running game/threat, this dude can have a nice stat line. Hoyer ain't bashful 'bout chucking it.

He stands to benefit from the demotion of Greg little. Don't expect many TDs though.

Also don't forget the new regime explictly traded for this guy. You see what they do with players that don't fit their plan (trent traded, little benched, weeden likely not to regain qb gig). Bess is one of their guys.
