1.5.14 -- Sunday Wildcard Weekend Game Threads

249 posts in this topic

Hopefully today's games are as good as yesterday's....

Can the Chargers be the first team to win in Cincy this year? All eyes on Dalton? ...can he take this team to the promise land?

On tap for the second game, let's just say it's going to be cold - really cold. I'm just a little south of GB and it's already FREEZING! (...and the temperature is only suppose to drop as the day goes on) I'm interested to see how both teams deal with the cold weather. Can the Packers get over this mental block against the 49ers? Or do the 49ers simply man handle them on both sides of the ball - steam roll to the divisional round?

Post em' here...

As a neutral fan, I'm kind of hoping for both of these teams, both have had a tough history. Bengals were a joke team up until the 2000's, the Chargers have had some tough years recently. It'd be nice to see either one make it to the SB.

Impressive drive from the Chargers - surprised at the early success on the ground so far...

Bengals D has been very porous the last half of the season as they were ripped up by injuries......Woodhead scores on a simple stretch play. Really nice drive by SD.

Here comes Vincent Rey!! IDP Monster.

You would think. Alas, I thought I heard them say Michael Boley. One question: why?

Rey was probable today I think. Maybe he wasn't a full go?

That was just a great defensive play but the bengals coaching staff is probably going to play BJGE the rest of the game.

I'll check all possible sources. I figured he proved that he should be on the field at all times.

If he didn't do that jump pivot thing then I doubt that's a fumble. You could tell he was already thinking about diving for the goal line though.

Yeah, I would hope so. Many would argue that he should be starting over Ray Mauoluga.

EDIT: Ray Mauoluga is back out there.
