He can easily go...

1.5-2 Threes.

15 Points.

3 Rebounds.

5 Assist.

1.5 Steals.

Wow. I don't know about that. That would mean must own in any league size.

Does he start or is he a backup? If he starts then he worth a pickup even in 10 team leagues. But if he just a backup then leave him on theWW.

He will noot start and I don't see him getting more than 20 min. Celtics have no interest in developing him. Strictly a salary dump

Bayless remains off fantasy radars even in deep leagues.

I don't know.. He could be just a salary dump but last season when Conley was injured, dude had some good numbers. He is good enough to start at PG in Boston especially until Rondo comes back or even if they decide to trade him for assets.

He was also very good when Calderon was injured on the Raptors. But for some reason or another, he ends up being awesome one day and then mediocre. I could imagine him being decent for roto leagues but beyond frustrating for H2H.

Why can't he start over Crawford?

So you bring someone in Boston , not knowing Brad's play and expect him to start with Rondo back in a couple of weeks , over Crawford who is doing a good job? You asking a serious question or proving an obvious point that isn't there.

Even his per 36 stats have trouble reaching most of these stats. Sometimes I just wonder how people come up with the kind of numbers that defy logic..

He has been given a bit of opportunity in Memphis , with Conley struggling and out at times. Plus it doesn't help when he is shooting 38% in 31 games for Grizz

Y'all are under rating this guy. He is better than Crawford as a PG. His Celtic history isn't bad, of the last 2 games vs Celtics he scored 30 and in another had 15 points in the fourth quarter alone.

Wanna see his ceiling? Check out last season when Conley was out. He had some killer games. He's only in his 5th year and was a lottery pick

This guy can score.... Idk if his playmaking skills are good... But he can score... 15 PPG isn't a stretch especially with no scorers in Boston...

The trap with Bayless is falling in love with some of his hot stretches and individual game lines - which can be eye-popping at times.

The guy is incredibly quick, and can exploit some matchups to great effect. He will put up an occasional blow-up game - a 10+ assist or 30+ point effort. When his 3pt shot gets going, he can sink 3 or 4 threes in a game. He's got the speed to put up a 3-4 steal game as well.

In a peak 5-6 game window, when he gets hot, you can be looking at a guy who will give you 20ppg, 1.5-2 3pg, and approach 5 apg, and give about 1 spg.

The challenge is consistency. His shot will also go cold, and especially when he is matched up against a team that can match his quickness, his best asset minimized, and he can really disappear for stretches. All of his stats, but especially his steals, are lower on a per-game basis than you'd think because mixed in with his great games will be a number of 1 assist, 0 steal, .333 FG% nights. Those are the kind of nights that kill per-game averages quickly, and also tend to spell a reduction in PT when there are other options.

It's maddening because when you look at the guy's peak, it's easy to imagine him being able to string a stretch of those together for more than 5-6 games at a time... but it just doesn't tend to happen.

The C's might end up doing more mix-and-match with Crawford, riding the hot hand more often, but he's unlikely to have a lasting breakout, even if it's likely he puts up one of his trademark 4-6 game tantalizing hot streaks.

When (if) Rondo comes back, remember also that they'll have Crawford, Bayless, and Avery Bradley to battle for minutes for the backup PG and SG slot. It's not just Crawford/Bayless.

If he's only a 20 mpg guy, he'll provide some occasional scoring punch and a few big games to make you smile, but his other non-scoring counting stats won't likely give you enough to justify more than an occasional fill-in for daily leagues.

What happens with Bayless after Rondo returns? He was already playing under 25 minutes, do you think he will sink below 20 mins?

well crawford could be moved according to rumors. if that does happen he would be the first combo guard of the bench.with crawford there though, probably won't get more than 20 min
