When I was new here I was surprised to read these words but as soon as I did, I knew they were true:

No one cares about your team.

When the urge crops up to discuss your past or current drafts, your roster, the steal you got, the worry you had that was assayed by the fact that as soon as you took this guy, the other guy you were targeting got hurt, fell to you, bought you a drink and took you to a strip club . . . well, I guess we would be interested if he bought you a drink and took you to a strip club but MY GOD!

What the hell is going on!?!?

Every thread is RUNNING FAT WITH COOL STORIES BROS!!!

Post em here.

Anyone else tired of waiting for teams to put guys on the DL? Especially when they've publicly stated those players will start the season on the DL. It's like, "Hello, I got guys I wanna pick up!" It's like the managers don't even care about fantasy baseball...

Was in a 5 OF league yesterday and had pick 7. Was debating hard between Cargo/Braun, ultimately went Cargo. Next pick, Braun fell to me. Freeman who I like to target in late round 2 fell to me in round 3.

Top 5 pitchers Bumgarner, Cain, Jordan Zim, Teheran, Cashner.

Cole and Abreu were snagged right before I could get em though

13 teamer too

Joe Bucks Nuts had the best draft out of those 6 rounds. Top 5 all still in the league, 2 are first rounders this year. Kuroda and Lowrie solid.

Reasons I love/hate fantasy baseball. Been following Grady Sizemore last three weeks or so thinking no one will make a move, someone picks him up the day before opening day.

Cool story

Two days ago, I was debating whether to add Josh Fields or Sergio Santos. I went with Fields. Today, Santos is the hottest add on the market and is already snatched.

Cool story, bro.

Mat Latos in Round 6 was a pretty good pick there.

Reading the name "Joe Bucks Nuts" almost made me spit out my drink.

I actually owned Santos, dropped him for Hutchinson when I could have dropped Brian Wilson for him. Santos clears waivers and it was always my plan to pick him up when my DL guys got listed. Turns out Machado and Darvish were just about the last guys assigned to the DL. In the meantime, before Santos becomes closer, he gets picked up (it is a holds league).

Cool story, bro.

Funny story, but I go to pick up Lindstrom, but apparently, the add limit carried over to this week, and as a result, I was unable to pick up Lindstrom. Wonderful.

I traded Cano, Cobb, Werth and Grilli for Trout, Chapman, Strasburg and Phillips right after Chappy's noggin got split.

I already wish I had Cobb back instead of Stras. GET YOUR $h!t together Strasburg! A. Brown? Who in the blue hell is A. Brown.

True stories, and cool too. Bro.

H2H league, my opponent has Cliff Lee. Jimmy Rollins hits a grand slam to give him a 6-0. Proceeds to then give up 7 ER's through over the next 2 innings. 7-6 Rangers through 3.

Cool story, broski!

I lived in Boston the year Mike Trout had his fabulous rookie season (I am originally from California and am a Halos fan). He was called up at like 1 a.m. local time (several hours after I had gone to bed). I woke up unexpectedly in the middle of the night (extremely unusual for me) and had a weird feeling that I needed to check my fantasy baseball league. Was able to grab Mike Trout within 5 minutes of his call-up. My Miguel Cabrera / Mike Trout fueled juggernaut handily won the league that year. Still think it was more than coincidence.

Cool story, broski.

Traded RA Dickey/Bautista for Cargo/Goldschmidt at the beginning of 2013. Should have stopped there. Then I traded Golschmidt+rd 2 for Strassburg +rd 4. Still kicking myself in the baseball nuts.

Cool story bro.

I have Yan Gomes in one league as my catcher. The Indians aren't playing today. Picked up Josmil Pinto last night, hoping that he would play today instead of Kurt Suzuki. He is and just went yard!

I had the exact same combo and also won it all that year.

Was a good year.

Last year I had the pitching staff to end all pitching staffs.

1. Wainwright (rd 4, 2nd year back from TJ and had many doubters)

2. Scherzer (rd 16 from keeper league. AL Cy Young)

3. Matt Harvey (traded for him using J-Zimm and two closers... so worth it).

4. David Price (traded for him while he was injured. came back and had an epic 2nd half.)

5. Jose Fernandez (picked him up midseason. rest is history).

Oddly enough I didn't win (that's H2H for you). Sadly, it's hard to imagine I'll ever have a pitching staff as epic. Sigh.

I had the same staff minus Price/Harvey but plus Stras/Shelby. Didn't even make the playoffs.

Thought I had Billy Miller queued up in my draft but to my surprise it was Sergio Romo. Miller was picked up 4 picks later. Meanwhile Reyes hits the DL and have DJ Inspector LeMahieu in my MI spot.

Romo is okay but didn't need a closer when I pick him.

Carry on cool brothers.

It was Miller time, so user error. But probably not a cool story. More of a vent. Whatever.
