I can confirm that it is POURING 2 hrs west of Philadelphia. Our outlook is bleak for the rest of the day with dropping temps into the mid 30's by 5PM. The rain is not to let up here until 8pm. Good luck getting the ATL/PHIL game in. if you have other options, use em. Hope this helps.

No rain in Detroit? That's because there is an inch of snow on the ground! We should get it in, but the high today is just above freezing.

There's snow here in Chicago too, so who knows if both Sox play.

So with two cancellations (Yanks/Cubs and Tigers/Indians) we are down to the following games in jeopardy? That right?

Rays @ O's (rain falling)

Braves @ Phillies (rain falling)

Red Sox @ White Sox (snow on ground)

I'm running out of bench so which of these are most likely to get in? Clear the snow in Chicago? Or rain through in Baltimore and/or Philly by tonight? Any locals hearing anything in local reporter tweets etc?

PS: I'm glad for NY and Detroit being called early. We need more of that and not just for fantasy players. Poor ticket holders get screwed driving sometimes long, long miles for maybe their one game of the season only to get it postponed after they wait around 2 to 3 hours in the rain.

Looks like zero precipitation in the forecast in Chicago, so I'd guess they have plenty of time to get the snow gone and play.

Zero here in Detroit too. Canceled due to snow last night/cold, apparently.
