New Multi-Sport League

Recommended Posts

50 States Sports League

Is a league that will encompass MLB, NBA, NCAAB, NFL, NCAAF. Each owner will select a state. You will fill your rosters on the premises listed below. There will be no trades and no waiver pick ups. What you draft you play with for that year. The following year you may drop what players you want and choose new players (from your state) via draft using the same concept listed below for initial drafts.

Also leagues will be weekly head to head matchups and scored by categories where some may be weighted more or less especially for NFL football where there are just 30 starting QBs and Ks. Those cats may carry a little less weight since there are not enough starters for each state. Weighted categories will be explained below. However, each matchup will be scored as a win and a loss. So if you win a NFL matchup 32-7 you will be 1-0 and your opponent 0-1.

Playoff system depending on # of teams. Scoring will be held on Fantrax. League is Free. Fantrax fees will be paid by commish.

INITIAL STATE SELECTION

Owners will be allowed to select one state until we have at least a solid foundation.

After most of the states are taken, I will allow owners to take additional states for those that want the challenge of an Alaska (almost impossible), Hawaii, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc.

DRAFT

Will hold draft on profsl for all leagues. It will be a quick draft with like a 4-hour clock that doesn’t stop since most players will only be available to like 2 to 3 states. Skipped or passed picks can be made at anytime. Draft will snake and will begin alphabetically. We will need to start MLB Draft immediately.

LEAGUE ROSTERS/SCORING

Not sure how many divisions or the size of them until we know how many states we have.

NFL

I know many of you would like to have more starters but I’d like to keep it limited since some small states will have a hard time fielding a complete team. If you win all categories the score of your game would be 41-0
