Recommended Posts

For league invite send email to minorss@hotmail.com with the subject "dynasty league" or post your email address here. Please post the team you would like here.

Live Draft will be held on a Sunday afternoon as soon as the league has been filled

Rosters:

1. Each manager will select a major league organization (in order of signup)

2. Each manager will select up to 25 players from that origanization, these can be a combination of major and minor league players

3. There will be a live draft with the players from the 10 unused teams and the players not selected by the 20 active teams

20 teams

40 players per team

40 keepers

Head to Head Roto Scoring

Positions: C, 1, 2, 3, SS, CI, MI, 5 OF, 2 DH, 5 SP, 8 RP, 13 Bench / Minor Leaguers

Categories:

Hitters- TB, HR, OBP, RBI, Runs, Net Stolen Bases (Steals minus Caught Stealing)

Pitchers- Wins, Saves plus Holds, Quality Starts, ERA, WHIP, K

Minor League Players can be used, even if they aren't in espn's system (only major league stats count)

Looking for active players only!

Example: I am the Tampa Bay Rays and selected the following 22 players (25 maximum)

Carl Crawford, Rocco Baldelli, BJ Upton, Carlos Pena, Akinori Iwamura, Jason Bartlett, Scott Kazmir, James Sheilds, Edwin Jackson, Matt Garza, Dan Wheeler, David Price, Troy Percival, Juan Salas, Chad Orvella, Jeff Niemann, JP Howell, Jason Hammel, Evan Longoria, Jake Mcgee, Wade Davis, and Reid Brignac.

All other Rays players would available in the draft, and I would have 18 picks in the draft since I only used 22 spots for Rays players.... if I had used 25 Rays players I would only have 15 picks in the draft.

I have the Red Soxs, but I would say the top five teams that would be most attractive in this type of league are:

  1. Yankees
  2. Rockies
  3. Tigers
  4. Cubs (especially if they pull the trigger on Brian Robers today)
  5. D-Backs and Dodgers (tie)

And few others that are very interesting are the Reds, Nats, and Twins. Get your team this is going to be a very interesting experimental league that I do belirve that can work.

I would like to take the Yankees. I also have a fantasy commissioner league purchased on CBS already that I would donate for the league (130 bucks it cost), the reason i recommend cbs is because it carrys essentially all minor league players. Anyway, ill send you an email.

I would rather keep it on ESPN, I'm not going to pay for CBS next year and I don't want to end up making this a pay league. But if you're still interested in the Yankees let me know.
