No doubt. The Rockies have been somewhat unRockies this year but Rich Hill is like the personification of an opening scene from a Lethal Weapon movie.

5 innings of no-hit ball, but 3 BBs & 2 hit batters. Encouraged that he made it through without blisters, but a little less encouraged now. If he's changing his pitching to prevent blisters, thus making him less effective, it's going to be a lost season.

eh, he always walks and hits a bunch of guys in spring training too, i think it's part of his normal ramping-up process. wouldn't worry off one game, wait until it persists for a while

Haha and he deserved it too.  At Hill's advanced age, he'll likely never have a shot at a legacy defining moment like a perfect game again.

Just a heads-up..

Roberts on Rich Hill, "We plan on giving him a start in San Fran. If that doesn't go well a conversation needs to be had (moving to pen)."

If he means "If he pops a blister it's off the 'pen" that's reasonable.

If he means if he doesn't pitch well he's off the the' pen that's BS

I assume he is referring to the blister. Can't blame Hill too much if he is rusty.

Why wouldn't you roll him out there against the Giants pop-gun offense?

And now Pence might hit the DL as well, making them even thinner in the middle of that lineup.  There is no reason to pitch to Posey at all and all of the Giants other decent hitters are lefties in Crawford, Belt, Panik.

Last year against the Giants: 16 IP, 3 ER, 14 K, 1.69 ERA and 1.19 WHIP.

All fair pts. Just don't wanna get stuck w/the hook after 75 pitches

My only concern in a weekly league is getting stuck with just 2 innings worth of him. Sucks missing the juicy matchup but I need to see him finish first.
