Logan Forsythe 2017 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Figured as much when X rays were inconclusive.  That's usually an ominous sign.  In no DL leagues probably a drop for me.  Just doesn't do enough statistically to warrant holding onto for 4-6? Weeks.

Forsythe will not be activated Friday, Roberts said.

I fell for the preseaon hype. Every sharp was on this guy.

For some reason I want to drop. I have plenty of 2nd baggers producing.

Why do we want to hold on this guy?

Dodgers' skipper Dave Roberts said Friday that Logan Forsythe will play at third base when he returns from the disabled list on Tuesday.

With Justin Turner on the shelf for a few weeks, they'll roll with Forsythe at third and continue to platoon Chris Taylor and Chase Utley at second base. Forsythe has played in just 14 games for the Dodgers this season, slashing .295/.407/.341 with no homers and three RBI.

Last 2 games he's 8 for 9 with a walk, 5 runs and an rbi.

Not a stud by any stretch, but with an obp north of 360 he's definitely solid at MI in my obp league. A little power going forward and he's a fantastic WW grab.

He needed to work off the rust is all.  He should be a solid 2B start in 12+ team leagues.  LAD could have went Dozier or Kinsler in the off-season but felt comfortable with Forsythe in a cost/benefit analysis versus the other options.  He's going to eventually end up at the top of the order - just a matter of when.

baseball managers are the worst... forsythe is obviously in the zone right now, so what does his manager think is the best course of action? let's bench him.. i'd hate for him to stay hot for too long, let's be sure and cool him down.

wtf
