Pick 1.02......

Recommended Posts

I have the 1.02 pick in my rookie draft dynasty/contract league who would you take with the 1.02? And why?

if your in need of "a wr who will contribute now" go ahead and go with Corey Davis if the draft was today.

I don't know the landscape of your league but if there's a chance a high upside rb can yield you a better wr when packaged with one of your current wr...that's always an option...

Not sure what your starting rosters look like, but it looks like you need a RB more than you need a WR.

I think you could use an RB or a WR. However, all you need is a few RB2s to keep your team afloat until henry takes over.

The good thing is you have Kelce, a lot of value could slip down the board if Howard, Njoku, and Engram get drafted before you at 12.

Based on your team, I believe you need a rb more than a wr.  Its clear some on here will disagree with me but if you can land a high end rb1 then, to me, that's a no brainer.  If one of these top rb's land in a good spot in next months draft, it may present that high end rb1 potential.

But if your going wr, Cl3velandbr0wns knows what hes talking about.  Corey Davis..

Why did you get rid of Pryor and Crowder and Henry. What happened to your team?! You now don't have a single decent starting wide receiver on your team unless Parker breaks out.

So, it looks like you traded:

Henry, Pryor, Crabtree, Crowder, Benjamin, & 1.12 for

T. Coleman, McKinnon, Booker, Parker and 1.6

You moved a lot to build your bench at RB...

I think you could accomplished what you needed to do in the draft by going RB-RB with your 1.2 & 1.4 picks (perhaps Cook/Mixon).

If you did that, you would still have a a reasonable starting WR group...

Crabtree, Pryor, and Crowder is not a stellar group, but they are better than what you have now.

Now, you need WRs that you can depend on for consistent scoring right away and, at best, you'll be able to draft one or two 2017 fantasy WR3 (Davis, Ross or Williams).

I do like Coleman, but everyone else you received are gambles with potentially limited upside.

As dynasty keepers, I think Henry has the highest upside of anyone listed in the deal, then Pryor.

Coleman has value now, but the other players you received are role players.

Crabtree, Pryor & Crowder were a little more important for your starting roster in 2017, imo.

How I rank these players:

On paper, it looks like you moved the 1,2,4,6,9 for the 3,5,7,8 and a swap of 1st round picks (moving you up 6 spots).

Having said all that, I am not familiar with contracts, etc. so my understanding of player value may not align with what is true.

Hopefully, Booker takes the job and runs with it... that would be big for you.

Agree, you need to grab Mixon.
