Who Are Your Personal Top-10 Prospects?

Recommended Posts

For simplicity, let's say it's guys in the minors + guys who were recently called up (Devers, Moncada).

Do you agree with the consensus #1, or is there a personal favorite?

Who do you think is overhyped, who is being underestimated?

How do your top-10 rankings look?

I've never seen Moncada so low. Is it the strikeouts?

Even if he hits .240 for his career... isn't he nearly Brian Dozier level? Or Carl Crawford if you swapped some speed with pop?

Bit of a hot take by me. But yeah, I'm worried about the contact. And he's 22 already. Just think that people have been a little too forgiving of his struggles since getting the #1 overall prospect. Too many younger guys that have legit hit tools below him

if Moncada's left-handed hit tool was as poor as his right, I'd barely have him in the top-15. I consider him above-average from the left though, while "Danny Espinosa" from the right. If he doesn't become a superstar, It will be the ultimate display of how baseball is a game of far more than just raw, explosive tools.

In basketball, a guy with those physical advantages is at least going to be Dwight Howard. In baseball though, there's the risk that you will hit like Michael Jordan.
