2017 FAAB Waiver Wire Thread

Recommended Posts

Oddly my league slept on Nelson and I got him for 1%.  Meanwhile the likes of Hurns went for 10%

Any CBS users in here know if you can set up FAAB waivers to show failed bids/waivers. It sounds like this is option in ESPN/Yahoo leagues but I'm not sure if it is an option in CBS. Right now, our league can only see the winning bids, but it would be nice to see the full set of bids. Thanks.

that is... illogical. Now Marquis Lee? That I can get behind!

Would you drop Paul Perkins to pickup Rob Kelley if you could? The Giants look awful and I'm not sure that offensive line ever gets it together this season. Thoughts? Thanks for the help!

Blount sitting on my WW, how much of a $100 budget do you drop on him

Depends on your rb's but I'd say up to $10-12 would be fine.

Hurting at the position. Yeah I’ll throw that down.

in my 8-man standard league both Chris Thompson and Joe Mixon are available on the waivers. I'm going to put a bid out there for both of them, but which one of these guys do you think I should prioritize and roughly how much FAAB would you drop on either of them?

8 teamer I probably pass on Thompson. Mixon is worth 30% for sure especially if you need a rb. His usage will only increase with the new coordinator. He realizes green and mixon are the best players. Don’t be surprised to see someone in your league drop 60%+ though.

30% seems way too low.  I'm not very experienced in 8 team leagues so I don't know how much that effects the value of the WW but I have a hard time imagining someone with his upside hitting the WW rest of season.

Just a thought for the forum.... I think this thread might gain more traction if it was in the main thread.

I know that technically it might fit better here, but value discussion is okay on the main thread and there's a waiver wire tout thread over there.

How much of the budget would you spend on Jameis?

im 3-0 but Cam is doing absolutely nothing and I need an upgrade.  I’m thinking about spending a decent amount...

also, do you think this is a risk having him and Mike Evans on the same team?  It’s full PPR.

I created this thread and put it in the main thread 2 years ago and it was gaining a lot of traction, but the mods insisted on moving it here while keeping the other waiver thread out there.

Occasionally we get knowledgeable new people in here, but mostly not. There are are about 5 or 6 of us here from the start and we mainly just agree with each other now.

I’d put 100% on Mixon, personally.  Or at least as much as you think you need to bid to guarantee you get him.

JJ Nelson was dropped in my league and I'm really thin at WR and need a WR off the WW to start next week because of byes. how much is reasonable for Nelson? 1-10%?

1% will probably do it if that's who you really want. I think a 0% bid will get it done too though.

He just put up 0 (Zero) points last night and John brown should be returning any day now.

I'd probably put more on brown than Nelson honestly.

I did the exact same thing. I blew about 55% of my budget on those 2 after week 1. Overall I'm  glad I did but there may be some weeks where I wished I saved a few bucks.
