He wasn't on the afl rosters that were released. I would hope he got some extra innings this year

You got your wish!

Probably to be expected somewhat since it’s been so long since he’s pitched much, but mechanics reportedly awful so far in the falll league and all over the zone.

BBA talks about Nate Pearson in their latest podcast (https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/pro-podcast-vlad-jr-forrest-whitley-and-other-arizona-fall-league-notes/
@ 6:10-9:00) Pro Podcast: Vlad Jr, Forrest Whitley And Other Arizona Fall League Notes

According to Josh Norris:
- Really good (Not quite Forrest Whitley level)
- Touched 100 mph five times in AFL so far
- Curve, Slider, Changeup require more finesse, but all have the potential to be 6/6 with more refinement
- Must control the body more, must improve fastball command
- Missed the year, but is the #2 pitcher prospect in the AFL
- Floor: Dellin Betances, Ceiling: "something special"

Not worried in the slightest about Pearson.  This is make up innings for him in a hitting friendly environment.

Watched him a few times in the AFL. Been impressed with his command. I think he’s almost ready.

Dude was pumping 100-103 MPH consistently in his inning of work today and had a great battle with Peter Alonso(who took 103 MPH FB deep to CF for a HR)
