Anyone want to share with me the skinny on JV? Kicking the tires on a deal...

I see mins are down. Is JV ceding mins to Poeltl? Any risk Poeltl overtakes him?

Any injury concerns?

coaching and matchups.... so basically, its going to be up and down as usual for Val.... i do regret dropping him though....but when i see the dud games, it reminds me of why i did

A guy puts up these kind of stats in under 20 minutes. You don't need to be an analytics expert to conclude that Casey is an idiot.

What the heck . . . damn it, Jonas. I'd like to stay far, far away, but then you do this.

He killed it tonight, 28 pts on .750 shooting incl 2 3s, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Was a beast in the 4th, why did Casey take him out on that last play

Would be tight if they could just find 26 mpg for him. That's all it takes for him to have early round value.

Tight is a term I haven't heard since like 2011.  Agree with your post though.

Those three pointers were fluky as hell. No way he hits that shot consistently.

I'm bringing it back, baby.

He's been taking a sprinkling of 3PA since his resurgence. 0.4 3PM over the last month. Although he won't hit them consistently, it's better than 0.0. I'll take 'em.

Got me to thinking, I wonder if they are showcasing him?  Poetl is ready to be a starting center in this league.

I have watched him in a few games this year.  I thought he was much quicker and more active than advertised.  He even defended the perimeter well and moved well in transition.  Obviously, he is not as agile guys like AD, but I thought he was solid during his time on the court.  I get it that today's NBA is about having a center who can pull the opposing rim protector out onto the perimeter which Jonas can't but he does finish well down low and has the ability to get the opponent's rim protector in foul trouble when involved in the game.

Maybe not looking so fluky?  2 3PM already tonight.  Who knew this beast would turn into a stretch 5 lol.

Last three games: 2, 2 and 1 from far... Still has manged to keep his percentage up. Last 10 games, only 1 dud... That three point shot looks to be a nice add so far. A few blowbys when people try to challenge.

I like how since this statement was made, he's averaged over 1 3PTM per game :D:D

He's actually improved his game this year. Who would've thought JoVal would have some unknown upside.

Im wondering if he can keep this up ROS. I was offered Beasley in one league, but the guy has sort of made him self worth noticing in my roster.

To think I was considering dropping JVal for Okafor when the latter was traded to BKN (even got a lot of comments favoring that move in AC). Killing it right now. Five DD's in past seven games, with around 17/12, 2 BLK, and even a few 3PT's here and there.
