With the Yanks bullpen why even bring him out for the 7th after throwing 100 pitches of artwork?

He's elite. Definitely the next out of anyone to join the super ace club.

Assuming Cole is already a member then?

This cat is on pace to strikeout a shade under 300 batters and win 23 games - opponents currently batting .181 against him, on pace for 245 innings.  He just turned 24 earlier this year.  What he's doing is incredibly impressive.

He looks unhittable tonight.   We may be watching something special

I'm so disappointed I'm gonna see Sale in New York on Saturday instead of Sevy on Sunday. He is a walking deity.

I chalked up his last start as bad luck because he ran into the Cleveland buzzsaw, but I didn't know TB was capable of scoring 6 runs and getting 11 hits in a game..whats going on is he out of gas already? Hasn't made it to the 6th in 3 starts...

He said he thought he may be tipping his pitches after the Cleveland start.

I wouldn't panic with TB  being a division rival.  They see him so much that after a while they probably figure out how to hit him.

I am worried now after he gets light out by the lowly Royals.... What's wrong with him? Is he hurt or something? The K rate is still good; he hit 99 MPH vs. the Royals; but it seems that he is not locating the pitches as well.

He could use a phantom DL stint to recharge the batteries.
