Check out the new Rotoworld Beta Site!   11/14/2018

Rotoworld has been the industry leader in fantasy news and analysis for years, but it was time for a much-needed facelift!  While our around-the-clock, comprehensive coverage will remain the same, the new Rotoworld design will be sleeker, easier to navigate, more video-friendly and will finally be mobile-optimized.    That’s right, you can finally stop pinching the screens on your phones to read our content!  Right now we’re in the beta phase of our launch, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but we’d love for you to check out our soon-to-be new digs, and let us know what you think: https://beta.rotoworld.com.    And then please use the Contact Us button to give us feedback!

This was one of those starts where the box score tells a different story than if you watched him pitch.

While I didn't get to see much of the start since I had to work, it would be hard to argue with that even just judging by how his stats were up until the 6th inning.  Even after the HR and all, he ended up with a WHIP of 1.00, which makes it impossible to say he pitched badly until he gave up several HR's over amongst his 1 hit per inning average.

All in all, I'm still encouraged by this start following up his great complete game shutout.  It sure seemed like he was really on for most of the game, so the only way I would have been concerned is if he pitched horribly as a follow-up to that shutout.

He may let down a lot of teams in their playoffs I'm afraid, myself included. Diminished velocity and hitting too much of the plate, he is much more hittable than ever before. Just doesn't have the same fireball in his arsenal anymore to consistently blow the heat by hitters. His starts are going to be real nail biters ROS. Absolutely brutal 9 hits 5 ER against KC.

He has been skipped. Not starting on Sunday. If you were hoping for 2 starts this week, kiss that goodbye.

This potentially gives him 2 starts for the following week, right?

I hope so. If he doesn't get pushed back or skipped again, he will face the White Sox and Red Sox.

I wouldn't be surprised if they skipped a turn in the rotation for him to give him some rest.

If Kluber doesn't pitch well in the playoffs, the Indians are probably toast.

Can get his 20th win against Boston, so lets move him up so he can pitch against the White Sox's.

He could get it against either, but I'm more than fine with him being pushed back due to the matchup.  The change in matchup more than makes up for any issues it gives some owners.

You guys deserve it. This is your year. I hope you beat Boston. This is coming from a Yankees fan.

Anyone who tells me he is no longer a top 5 SP.. help me understand how going 20-7/0.99 WHIP/2.89ERA/215 IP/222 SO makes you NOT a top 5 SP?  Yah... he w/o a doubt 100% is still very much that.

Completely agree.  Sure, he had rough stretches unlike him this season and his K's were obviously down, but he still had a great season overall when it was all said and done.  Also, while you didn't mention it, I ignore anything that happens in the playoffs, so any struggles he has during them is meaningless.
