Mitch Haniger went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and four total RBI in Sunday's win over the Rangers.

Haniger connected for a three-run home run off Cole Hamels in the third inning. The tater was his fourth through the first two weeks of play. The 26-year-old outfielder hit all of five during the 2016 season. While he is unlikely to maintain his current .294/.410/.588 triple-slash, those in deeper AL-only formats looking for a little bit of bench heat might consider giving him a look while he is raking.

Gotta love this site. Bench Heat is back to making us drool in April again! Can he keep it going all year this time?

Gonna try and snag him and drop Dickerson.  Hes a black hole so far.  Had some cake matchups too and done nothing.

Would be nice if he can lock down the 5th spot in the batting order when Cruz returns. Hoping he continues to knock the cover off the ball batting cleanup and Seager scuffles his way to the 6th spot of the order. I know some manager's get stuck with the R,L,R lineups but hoping common sense allows Servais to continue batting Haniger in a prime RBI spot.

Haniger has the looks of an ascending talent, but Kyle Seager is averaging 33 doubles, 27 homers, and 89 rbi's the last 4 years. He's earned that 5th spot. Likely stinks for Haniger, but at least we know if any of Cano/Cruz/Seager are out, Mitch will move up in the order.

Or if either Segura or Gordon see any time on the shelf this year.  I love Haniger in that 2 spot hitting in FRONT of Cano, Cruz, Seager.

“I don’t know if I can ever hope to ever get Mitch hot,” said Seager, who had two hits on the day. “He looks really good in there. He’s swinging the bat really well. He’s been really doing a good job. Nelson is a hard void to fill and he’s jumped in there really well.”

Mitch Hot. bench heat

Would be nice of Kyle to insist hitting in the 6th spot when Nellie returns since even he knows he'll never be Mitch Hot.

Seager can't even hope to ever get "Mitch Hot".  That is awsesome

How about a HR every now and then?  Getting real tired of an RBI sprinkled among the 0 fers and 1 fers.

and 6 1fers, did you read the whole post?  Only 2 multi hit games this year.  Id like a little more of that and less 0 and 1 fers.

Its ten games in.  He has exactly 2 "0fers". You're going to need to develop some patience in this game,  even for fantasy football this would be impatient.  You've polluted about every thread you're in with nothing but vent posts,  relax and enjoy a good player

He has 3 as stated above, with 6 1 fers.  Thats 7 out of 11 poor games (2 of the 1 fers here HRs).  He has only faced a few good pitchers.  There should be better counting stats.

Yea, I read your whole post.

Guy is hitting .297.  Good RBI total.  You probably drafted him in the 10th-12th round.

So...yea...more multi hit games would be nice, I guess.

Sounds like you should sell high then, he is just some AL bench heat after all.
