12 team standard league. QB, RB(2), WR/TE(3), Superflex(2), K

Team went 10-4 and, frankly, is not all that good.

Current championship lineup:

QB: Carr

QB: Flacco

RB: Gordon

RB: Elliot

RB: J. Williams

WR: M. Jones

WR: M. Bryant

WR: Goodwin

K: Gostkowski

10 team, standard yahoo pro $100

QB1 - Phil Rivers

WR1 - Brandin Cooks

WR2 - Keenan Allen

WR3 - Devin Funchess

RB1 - Leveon Bell

RB2 - Mark Ingram

TE1 - Rob Gronkowski

K - Chris Boswell

DEF - Minnesota Vikings

I have 72% chance to win vs my opponent according to Yahoo's pregame projection.

Only 1 of these players (Ingram), was originally drafted by me.

Everybody else came by way of trade and/or waiver wire.

Posting here because i'm bitter about a 3 point loss due to the called back Ben Touchdown and Gurley having the game of his life. So my team that SHOULD be in the championship game is:

QB: Ben

WR: Julio (though i would have explored better options on the waiver wire)

WR: Funchess

RB: Hunt

RB: Kamara

Flex: CJ Anderson or Gore (Adams is out)

TE: Gronk

K: Boswell

DEF: Chicago

:(

What did you have to give up to get bell in a $100 pro league?

10 Team Standard:

QB - Tom Brady

RB1 - Alvin Kamara

RB2 - Kenyan Drake

WR1 - Tyreek Hill

WR2 - Adam Thielen

Flex - Greg Olsen

TE1 - Gronk

K - Gostkowski

DEF - Ravens

I'm still debating between Brandin Cooks or Greg Olsen for the flex.  Already starting Brady & Gronk...Feel like I might want to diversify a little bit....

I got Bell early in the year when he had a slow start. It was a total buy low trade. Also got Keenan Allen right before he blew up over the last 5 weeks or so.

Trade 1 (Week 3/4)

Sent: Ajayi, Howard, Diggs, & Hopkins

Received: Bell, Cooper, Cooks, & Lynch

Trade 2 (Week 9):

Sent: Kamara, Crabtree

Received: Keenan Allen, Rob Gronkowski

Started the season 2-6 and haven't lost since week 8 all the way through the playoffs. My average score has been 127 since week 8.

WR1 - Brandin Cooks - Trade

WR2 - Keenan Allen - Trade

WR3 - Devin Funchess - WW add (09-23-2017)

RB1 - Leveon Bell - Trade

RB2 - Mark Ingram - Drafted (6th rd, #52 overall)

TE1 - Rob Gronkowski - Trade

K - Chris Boswell - Stream

DEF - Minnesota Vikings - Stream

What this tells me is that buying low and constantly upgrading your bench / stashing the right players is where you will find a competitive advantage in fantasy football. And that the draft isn't that important.

That is definitely true but at the other end of the spectrum a great draft makes your life easier. I’m in the championship this year making 3 total moves this year and 1 trade. I am lucky I stayed healthy but drafting Gurley, Gronk, Hopkins, and then Jags D for 1 dollar was much more important to my season

QB: Foles

RB: Gurley

RB: Davis

WR: Baldwin

WR: Smith-Schuster

TE: Rudolph

FLEX: Flash Gordon

D/ST: Jags

K: Boswell

Still considering pulling the safety valve on foles and subbing in flacco, but i like the vikings chances today and if they win i think foles has the better week

That will be a close matchup. I'd hate to lose to a team called the Jizz Squad though.

Haha, it's been me and him going back and forth all season for 1st place. His team is absolutely stacked, hoping for a nice Christmas victory. :)

12 man full PPR league

Starters:

Case Keenum,
Todd Gurley
Alvin Kamara

Kareem Hunt
Josh Gordon
Martavis Bryant
Travis Kelce
Ravens D/ST
Phil Dawson

Bench:

Blake Bortles

Golden Tate

Stefon Diggs

Marquise Goodwin

Lamar Miller

Keenum gets the start over Bortles because he has the better wr group and what I think is the safer floor

Martavis and Gordon get the start because I think they have the most upside with TD potential which I will need if any of my rb's turn in a single digit dud.

Alot easier to do in a 10 man league because you have more pieces to get a trade done and less risk if you get a trade wrong whereas in 12 man or more leagues you have higher risk if you trade away a stud and waiver wires are thin.

Here is my starting lineup in my main league

QB Rivers (was dropped and picked him up right before the thanksgiving feast- minus last week he has been clutch and I lost Wentz)

RB Gurley (drafted 2nd round 16th and everyone said I reached- I actually considered him at 9 but went Evans who I managed to trade for M. Thomas and later to Green)

RB Bell (trade for him during his bye owner was desperate- gave up Lynch, D. Thomas, A. Jones- when he looked like he was the feature back plus Keuchly on IDP)

WR Hopkins (traded Gronk for him)

WR AJ Green (traded M. Thomas/plus Olsen who I stashed- facing this owner in the finals)

TE Ertz (traded Brees/D. Walker for Wentz/Ertz)

Flex undecided between Collins or Agholor (both WW pick ups)
