Yes, this doesn’t mean they are suddenly a poor offense.

Houston tends to scuffle a bit against lefties. I'll roll him out as he's had success in the past versus Houston and this game is being played @ Seattle. He's also a two starter this week so no way i'm keeping him benched. Hoping he limits the damage to 3 runs tonight with decent ratios.

Garbage...hot garbage.

Totally man! He's even worse than Giolito! I never thought Paxton would have a bad start all year. We got screwed drafting this guy!

Texas owns him. Did not have a good history at Texas coming into this game. Ump also squeezed him bad on a few key pitches. He's still a very viable starter.

I was being sarcastic in my last post. I love Paxton. He'll have his starts like this every now and then, but for the most part, he's solid. I am glad to own him this year.

He has wicked stuff, he just needs to learn to be more efficient with his pitches. He always seems to throw 20+ pitches per inning.

He goes through spells with his mechanics.  Big frame, lots of moving parts.  He hasn’t found his release yet.  It will come.  Buy low.

Utterly dominant performance tonight v OAK. This is why he's stealth elite in draft season.

As dominant as he was, why was he removed? Pitch count up?

Yep - can't remember the exact count but it was close to (or over) 100 going into the 8th.

He was noticeably fatigued in the 7th.  His mechanics were falling apart.

It’s all good if you had Blake Treinen, though.  You got Paxton’s rightful W.

When wins are removed from the discussion, we will all be much better off.

Up to 60 K's in 38.2 IP. If my math is correct, he leads the league in K/9 at a tick over 14.
