Manny Machado 2018 Outlook

People are already speculating how much money he's going to earn in free agency. Am I the only one that thinks he isn't worth top dollar? Career .330 OBP and OPS in the low .800s. Not my idea of elite. Harper on the other hand...

Bryce Harper will command more money, but Manny is 25 years old, plays a premium position and already has 3 seasons of over 6 bWAR.  Harper can't say that.

Love the production but man wish there people on base for him to drive in.  That trade can’t come soon enough

Ya his team is just terrible. Must be depressing hitting 2 jacks and see the score is 4-12

I'm a little nervous about the pending trade. Camden in the summer is a great place to hit.

Is it too early for Baltimore to trade him?

This team is so damn bad he can only really drive himself in.

Philly is a dream destination for him, in both fantasy and real life.

Baltimore has no idea what they are doing and has been a FO endemic problem for years. They pretend they are in contention. Duquette now is only a name as is Peter Angelos (his kids are learning on the fly).

Showalter would probably do far better as a dual Mgr/GM.

He'll be in Philly before the end of the year.

I like this call.  They can definitely afford him.

Would look really good in Dodger blue at SS right about now.

Dave Roberts would hit him 6th or lower.  He hates good players.

It would help his fantasy value as well. Much better hitters in that lineup. Bellinger comes to mind.

Would need to hit a HR just to get that lazy bum home from 3rd.
