Correction: Gordon hasn’t been cut yet.  All we know for certain is he won’t play this week.  A trade might be the most probable outcome...

Hue will try to trade him, but he can't figure out how the new fax machine works, so just cuts him.

dynasty leagues exist

LOOOOOOOL Gordon (not to mention his "dynasty" owners) should consider himself lucky if he plays another snap in the NFL.

But hey, maybe next time will be the one!

I don't get all the hype around him going to New England. His best fits would be:

Carolina

Colts

Chiefs

Dallas would be awful fit. Dak sucks

Because he'd have the best QB of all time throwing to him...not really much to think about with that one.

How'd that work for Chad OchoCinco?

Why not GB? It's seemingly out of character for them, but would be an incredible fit with the best QB in the game. Might make the Packers favorites in the NFC

Ian Rapoport‏

@RapSheet

The #Browns announced they are releasing Josh Gordon, but they may not get there. I’m told as many as five teams are researching possibly trading for Gordon. Cleveland has a market.

You know what is really easy for an agent to do?  Call up Ian Rapoport and tell him that five teams are interested in your client.  You know what is extremely difficult to do?  Get an actual NFL team to sign a player with as troubling a history as Gordon has.  It ain't happening, folks.  Gordon was in his last, final last, chance to make it in the NFL, and he blew it.  Move along.

Chad Johnson was done by the time he went to New England. Flash Gordon is in his prime.

If there is no failed drug tests, he will 100% be picked up.

I'm perplexed to all the folks saying he won't play, there won't be a move.

Then why are 5 teams contacting the Browns wanting to trade for him?

Because there aren't five teams doing that.  There isn't one team doing that.  Think about it.

If there is no failed drug test, and that's an enormous IF, I hope the Jaguars pick him up.

Bingo.  Either the agent or the Browns leaked the information to try and drum up interest in Gordon.  Likely the agent, given the Browns already announced their plan is to release him.

I feel like it’s 50/50

-Hue says Gordon will be getting a lot of targets this week(they are relying on him)

-hurts his hamstring doing non team stuff(he is being selfish)

-team feels he is getting close to relapsing(not a good sign)

-showed up late and was not himself(not a good sign)

-was habitually late

-if he failed  drug test, why not cut him immediately

-why not shut down trade rumors immediately since if he failed, they can’t trade him

Seattle would actually be a great fit especially with wilson throwing him the ball. With Baldwin out they need a big player maker out the outside

Except any half-decent reporter corroborates and verifies what a source tells them.

And since this is a fantasy discussion thread involving a player which you have declared, several times in just the past few hours, to have no value, it's time for you to take your own advice and move along.

Y'all just wait until you wake up tomorrow morning and learn he's been resurrected as the new WR1 of the Packers, Seahawks, Colts, Patriots or co-WR1 of the Texans.
