Unlimited downside.  He’s cut and/or fails a drug test...  zero fantasy points.

Gordon still needs to get his s--- together.  NE is his best opportunity, but it might also be his last chance.

So you mean his downside is limited to 0, just like pretty much everyone else.

Week 12 - 16 schedule (coming off a week 11 bye)

@ nyj

vs min

@ mia

@ pit

vs buf

some cold weather games (except miami) for that time of year, but not a bad schedule heading into the playoffs....

Crowded in NE, but that could clear out considering Gronk is gonna miss games and Edelman is 32 coming back from an ACL tear.

Pats would still rather take a chance on JG  than sign Dez. Firing up Gordon this week!

Gordon never seemed to have any trouble with the team, he just likes some good kush too often. Bryant definitely has a team killer rep though.

Just out of curiosity - how much more "sophisticated" is the NE offense from other teams?

What are WR's being asked to do there, that they wouldn't be able to pick up easy?

Watch him clean up and go on to have a HOF career now for New England.  Just like Bellichek did leaving the Browns.  Wouldn't that be something

For now all Gordon needs to do is run in a straight line and pull some defenders with him. Anything to get 3 dudes off Gronk which probably drove Beli insane enough to want this trade fast, after watching Gronk get gang raped every play Sunday.

Much more sophisticated than Hue Jackson's offense.

Save your ironic condescension, clearly you don't understand how NFL offenses or option routes work for guys that are new to an offensive system, that also need to get on the same page with their QB for said option routes.

You're right.  The Pats are the only team with option routes.  The Jets and every other team do not use them.  Therefore my example of a WR who played a full snap count the same week he was traded was actually only able to do that because there were no options in the Jets play book.  The Pats invented it.  Got it.  You win.

Yeah, you're just posting nonsense because you have no idea what you're talking about and you're upset that I called you out about it. Move along.

You watch enough games and  you'll start to see the little things between a good QB and receiver relationship. Also, even the best duos who have been together a long time like Ryan/Julio, Big Ben/Brown, still have their moments of miscommunication. At the end of the day it doesn't hurt for a quarterback to know where his receiver is going to be based on the defense.

Sure he can run go routes and slants but the back shoulder throws, zones reads, audibles, etc will take practice.

From what I've read their WRs are basically asked to run option routes all day. Not set routes like a regular offense does.

Josh Gordon threads are arguably the greatest place on the internet to s***post.

Although, in all seriousness, I do generally try to post good content.

My serious contribution to this thread is that he should be a bench player wait and see in every league and that the upside is tantalizing and the downside is irrelevance. Things I assume everyone knows (or should know).

edit: that is pasta btw.
