Check out the new Rotoworld Beta Site!   11/14/2018

Rotoworld has been the industry leader in fantasy news and analysis for years, but it was time for a much-needed facelift!  While our around-the-clock, comprehensive coverage will remain the same, the new Rotoworld design will be sleeker, easier to navigate, more video-friendly and will finally be mobile-optimized.    That’s right, you can finally stop pinching the screens on your phones to read our content!  Right now we’re in the beta phase of our launch, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but we’d love for you to check out our soon-to-be new digs, and let us know what you think: https://beta.rotoworld.com.    And then please use the Contact Us button to give us feedback!

Wonder what his stats were from the Bautista punch till now actually are.

Pre-punch: .264/.308/.446, 32 HR, 119 R, 130 RBI, 102 wRC+ across 1043 PA

Post-punch: .228/.267/.429, 57 HR, 152 R, 156 RBI, 76 wRC+ across 1240 PA

It's not impossible that after the punch he tried to cultivate a persona that didn't fit him, and the misfit carried over into his hitting. Or maybe he was always destined to suck.

With the injury he caused last night, owners better hope he doesn't come away too scarred tonight.

If he gets HBP that could be a blessing for owners to have a reason to cut and move on.

Angels are like, he’s not worth hitting with a pitch we’d rather face the loser 16 times a year.  His punishment is he stays in the lineup!

It's not just the results, it's the quality of his ABs.  Can't imagine what it must be like to be Jeff Banister and have to watch Odor and Gallo every day.  In fairness to Gallo, his ABs look like Tony Gwynn compared to Rougned.

Simmons tried to take him out with a dirty rolling slide..... Guess as payback.  He did come around and score the winning run but there's nothing to like about him in fantasy right now.  He was probably always destined to be a low average guy but the shift and him becoming even more pull centric has made it worse.  Now he's in his own head at the plate and a terrible hitter.

Daniels when asked what they'll do with Odor when Andrus comes back, "Well, he has an option".

Hadn’t thought of this possibility really.  He could be screwed.  Oh well replacing the .560 ops and 1 for 6 in SB attempts should be replicated by acquiring anyone with a pulse.

Where the hell did the homers go?? At least last year he gave you 30 bombs to go along with his horrific avg, this year he has one homer through 151 PA's...

It'll be interesting to see what the Rangers do with Odor when Andrus comes back next week. On one hand, the Rangers stink and are going nowhere this season. So playing young players, even if struggling, generally makes sense. On the other hand, Odor has been so bad for so long that you kind of wonder if the Rangers will try something different. Odor's been sub-replacement level for 8 straight months. And while he is under a decent sized contract, the big money really doesn't kick in until next season. So you could try something more drastic in an effort to kick start Odor. Kind of like when the Twins demoted Sano. Sano really only had one bad month, Odor's been this bad since the beginning of 2017.
