Dalvin Cook 2018 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Definitely had the "poops" as speculated:

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) remained "full" in Thursday's practice.

A reporter caused a mini-Twitter furor when he posted that Cook had "left" practice, but it was not anything out of the ordinary. We have been conditioned to expect Cook setbacks, but this was not one of them. He will be back against the Jets. Cook is a risk/reward RB2 in an ugly running back landscape.

Updating an earlier item, Dalvin Cook (hamstring) was officially "DNP" on Thursday.

Alrighty then. The "DNP" designation comes less than an hour after coach Mike Zimmer said Cook was "not limited" on Thursday. Perhaps it was just a rest day. Whatever it was is confusing. We would still consider Cook on track to return against the Jets, but Friday has now taken on much greater importance.

The coach just said he wasn't limited... This doesn't even make sense.

Situation is a poop storm.

If he plays, I'd start a lot of RB's over him this week including...

Ito Smith

Kerryon Johnson

Buck Allen

Yes, even Latavius Murray

Unless there is a good reason for him being, limited - left practice, returned, then DNP I'm not sure I can start him either this week.

He was initially trending in the right direction and I was 100% on board with starting him this week. But man this has been a rough ride so far this year.  What is going on?

F***, just managed to trade out of this guy, I really hope it doesn't get vetoed now or I have to pity cancel... Couldn't have just made it through practice, could you?

Practice?  We're talking about practice?

Sold this guy last week. So glad I don't have to deal with these shenanigans.
