Points league keeper help

Recommended Posts

I'm in a 12 team points league and can keep one player in the round they were drafted in the year before. Whom would you keep?

Yelich in round 7 (84th overall)

Paxton in round 8 (85th overall)

Berrios or Godley in round 22 (253rd overall)

I obviously LOVE Yelich but I think you have to go to value. I like Berrios more, but statistically Godley was amazing. His Swinging Strike% was top 20 in the league. He throws a lot of junk (Off-speed). Only around 35% fastballs, but it worked for him. I would go one of those two.

Who else are you already keeping?

We only can keep one player past the 5th round. These four are my best options.

Ok, but if you are already keeping other pitchers or outfielders is going to sway what may be the best choice for your team.

A 12 team league that plays 3 OF and 1 Util and you're already keeping 2 OF and no pitchers, you may wanna keep an arm.

A 12 team league that plays 4 OF and 2 Util and you're keeping 1 OF and 1 SP already, you may want to go Yelich.

Context matters. Just trying to help you out here.

I think Godley is close enough in redraft value to Yelich to make the round value hard to pass up, especially with the news of a humidor at Chase.
