True, but I guess at this point you almost have to be happy as long as he pitches good regardless of the velocity.  I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice for it to get back up to normal consistently, but as long as his cutter is moving like it should instead of the occasional straight one from his first couple of outings, then he will probably still be effective.

He mostly looked good except for a couple of of balls way out of the zone vs Piscotty.  Lucroy didn't have a chance but I dk if that's saying much.

It's weird he'd go from a pretty consistent 92 vs Lucroy to 89 vs next batter.  Maybe he's working on things?  I dk.

We may not see the Jansen of last year but he should still be valuable if he can keep it over 90.

Actually have heard stories of people dropping Felipe Vazquez because they thought he was a different player and added by mistake

What are the chances that Ottavino gets some save chances for COL? Solid ratios, has 2 W's already.

I'm about to sit Parker and start Ottavino in a 3 RP league.

Wade Davis is the closer. They signed him for alot of money so he is getting the 9th inning...not ottavino

Yeah I'm just thinking for vulture saves. I'm in a daily league.

Not sure how I can get off to a worse start this week!

Strickland, Holland, Bearclaw... I'm deep in the red.

With STL's bullpen getting tons of action in extra innings I hope Holland is able to re-bound with his next outing possibly tonight. Not concerned with Bearclaw. The Mets have this amazing ability to score right after the lose the lead. They've got some patient hitters and it was actually above 60* in that ballgame.

Seems like he's gone completely unnoticed, but...

What about Taylor Williams for Milwaukee?

Vizcaino gave up a HR to blow the save for Atlanta.

Really? Hader getting the save opportunity.

Yes really. Coming back out for 2nd inning. Probably the smart play.

Way Holland is pitching Albers may not get the chance, score may blow out

Looks like he just gave up a walk?

Anyone making the speculative Minter pick up after today?

Probably.  Viz has always been wild.  I cant see them sticking with him for long.
