4/14 - GAME DAY THREAD

Recommended Posts

Wait even Trout the greatest player in the game took Junis deep? Yeah, guy clearly sucks.

More importantly, I count 12 swinging strikes and 7 Ks in 4.2 innings for a guy we expected very little Ks from. Encouraged.

It's 40 and raining in KC, I'll give him a break for losing his control for a bit.

Implosion?  I see 1 run scored by the Royals lol. So many overreactions.

Anyway, how'd Harvey do today? doesn't look like it was very good.

Saturday's game between the Yankees and Tigers has been postponed due to rain.

Advice: The two sides will attempt to play a split doubleheader on Sunday, but given the rain that's in the forecast for Sunday that seems optimistic. Saturday's scheduled starters, Francisco Liriano and Luis Cessa, will presumably be pushed back to one of the games on Sunday.

Will the Yankees vs. Tigers game be postpone too?

Does anyone know? I picked up Liriano lmao.

You picked up Liriano to stream vs the Yankees?

Bold move Cotton...

Another no QS for Richards who’s control went to ishh fast. I hope it was due to the rain but I doubt it. Btw he got the hook on 73 pitches thrown.  Pathetic.

Do you think he should've been left in?

I own him so yea but talking strictly baseball heck no.  No control at all once again, hope he finds it soon cause the potential is there.

Well the rest of us with eyes on the game and Not the box score...watched him spike 3 straight FBs for wild pitches and lose his command. From no hitter to that i think can be considered an implosion of sorts

i just wana see him get through 5 innings with a no hitter and then they call the game. i still get awarded the points for a no hitter whether its 5 innings or 9 innings

Thought no-hitters to officially count they needed 7 innings?

Graveman has to be the worst pitcher in the entire league (if not, he's close).  He's absolutely atrocious.

Watching the Dodgers broadcast and they just announced that Walker left with the dreaded forearm tightness.

You should watch more baseball. He's nowhere near the worst.

Manager's Challenge for "passing runners" on the HR by AZ?

LOL. Marrero hit a 3-run home run but since he passed Avila on the basepaths he was ruled out and instead of getting credit for a home run he gets a 2-run single. Comical mistake.
