Barkley at ATL next week...

tenor.gif?itemid=4556510

week 1:  Ajayi 15/62/2

week 2: CMAC 8/37/0, 14/102/0

week 3: Kamara 16/66/0, 15/124/0

week 4: Gio 15/69/2, 4/27/0

week 5: Conner 21/110/2, 4/75/0

still pending is the week 6 dalliance with the dormant Bucs running game ... very good chance they either: 1) resurrect Barber, or 2) make RoJo look like Barry Sanders.

To be fair I had DJ #1 in my pre-draft rankings  only cause I had no idea McCoy was OC/play caller.

But lets flip script... you could put DJ, Gurley, Zeke or Kamara on this Giants squad instead of Saquon and I don’t think they do what Barkley’s been doing.

This.  All day.

He is like nothing we have seen in a very long time. Maybe ever.  And if you disagree you haven’t watched him play.

Nah, the Cowboys could have a dominant Zeke performance and lose, but it would be 16-12 or something.

He reminds me in some ways of Barry Sanders.

Very much.  That’s who I thought of first.  I just don’t think Sanders had the same receiving capabilities that Barkley has.  Maybe he did and Detroit never had to utilize it as much.  But Barkley all around just seems so complete.

What an absolute stud you guys have.

I watched psu games and thought he had fast game speed.

I did not realize that this guy can just zoom.

As a Penn State Alum

As a PSU alum and a guy who tanked last season in his big money dynasty league just so he'd have first overall pick in the annual rookie draft, I'm loving the love Saquon is getting now. So, in your face to all of you doubters.

I see a lot of people talking about the lack of offensive support that limits Barkley's ceiling (O-line, Eli), but he's used to this sort of thing. His Junior year he exploded, we were healthy, had Chris Godwin, Mike Gesicki, and zero injuries. But his senior year, we had multiple injuries on the offensive line, a mediocre WR corps and an over-rated Chase McSorley who's a ghetto Tim Tebow operating out of the wild cat primarily. Stack that with eight in the box against Big 10 defenses all season long.

He's used to adjusting, and performing, at a high level with a limited supporting cast.

Chase McSorely?

I wasn't in position to get him, but If i was I prob. wouldn't have.

Boy was I wrong. That kid is a stud. Imagine the giants with a good QB.

This is Brown + Bell all over again. Just in first round picks.

You keep that degenerate out of this thread...LOL!!!

Cant stand the guy, or that stupid gesture after every run.

So glad I grabbed Saquon over him with the 4th overall.

He's got a little bit of Barry and a little bit of Faulk, but he's all Saquon!

I hadn't seen his speed until last night. If I had known he was that fast I totally would have taken him.

That one play where he and the LB were facing off, and he just ran right around him for the TD....lol....whoa!

He looks amazing. Even better than his numbers if that's possible

Yeah he looks great. I took him with the 5th pick.  Took a chance.  I had a feeling even without a line that he would at least be a pass catcher in a PPR league.  Pretty much have this week locked up already. That was a 39 point game in PPR.

remarkably so ... one thing that really impresses me is that even with all of the wiggle/juke/jive/speed/elusiveness he still makes sure to square those shoulders and take it right up field ... look at a couple/few of those dumpoffs from last night - no pussyfooting around until he is moving forward for positive yardage.

Crazy athleticism and elusiveness plus having a natural feel for the game makes for a lethal player. Wish I had some shares, kudos to those with the fortitude to take him early.
