Alert: every Red Sox pitcher has the same tan discoloration on the center of their hat-brims - and Kimbrel has been rubbing it repeatedly in between pitches.  Anyone care to look into this?  It’s no Apple Watch but still

Kimbrel needed a little edge after his outing last night.

Why doesn’t MLB look into this?!

Looks like the anal probing from NYY woke up Richards. Totally different since the beating.

Assuming for a moment you're not being ironic; Its's rosin on Kimbrel's brim. He seldom changes hats.

Don't jinx him. But yes, he's looked great. When he's on his game, he is ace material. Absolute nasty stuff. Just gotta deal with the occasional 5 walk games that hurt your WHIP.

Do you mean “rosin” on every Sox reliever’s hat in the same location?

Most definitely not being ironic.

Can you explain how you know that?  They have rosin on the mound.

Here comes a Harper line of 1-2, 2 BB, 1 R.

I was overconfident.

He hasn't looked that bad. Barely missing the edges. Votto had an error in the first that would have ended the inning on a DP at around 18 pitches or so. Votto then missed a throw in the 2nd that sent the ball into the outfield on another DP ball. Somehow managed to get thru 2 with one unearned run. Doubt he gets thru five innings though.

he settled down pretty well, lots of balls though. I'm holding.

Was surprised they let him hit in the top of the 5th at 95 pitches, but made quick work of the bottom of the 5th and now in line for the win.

Clayton who?  Think I made a very good decision to burn a #1 waiver on this Buehler kid.  Despite the current inning

Buehler's curve that breaks 12 to 6 is so pretty, why doesnt he throw it more?
