So how does this change the NBA. Who wins in the East (Celtics)? And now the West is really stacked for the All Star Game.

Sixers will be right there with them again, doesn't really affect anything though, Warriors will still be massive favorites this season

Whenever the LA Lakers are relevant the NBA is infinity more marketable. This is great for the league

0% chance he wins any titles now, with or without Kawhi. No one's beating the Warriors.

At this point I honestly think he doesn’t care.

So ah....

I guess the best FA acquisition's the Lakers can still brag about over the last decade are Carlos Boozer and Lou Williams. Lmao.

Vegas has the Lakers as 7-2 favorites to win the championship next season. Tied with the Celtics for 2nd. So apparently ahead of the Rockets.

That probably eliminates them from signing Boogie.  Brook Lopez probably comes back.....

NBA is at it's best when the Lakers are enemy #1. Overall great night for the league.

Maybe this will be good for the NBA.

The teams in the East have a prayer now--to make it to the finals, at least.

Meanwhile the West could be a dogfight.

I think it is good for the NBA because it places the biggest star in one of the top markets.  Obviously, LBJ transcends markets but this will be good for a historical significant market mired in mediocrity.  I wouldn't be surprised to hear Kahwi is heading to the Lakers and Lonzo and the Ball Circus is heading out of town.
