There is a good joke to make here if I were smarter.

They are 3 at bats combined to this point. How are you always so pessimistic?

Go Wright.  Hopefully you can repeat your last performance against Seattle.

Shields hasn't pitched well, but good lord he's been let down by his defense. Chicago defenders are playing like they're Oakland's defenders.

A's defense just cost Manaea an ER. Not sure why 3B didn't throw home, thought it was an easy out.

They got a double play and out of the inning though, so

Plus it's 8-0 in the bottom of the 6th when that happened. You can afford to give up the run for an easy routine play.

Detroit @ Cleveland is already in a rain delay before start time.  The rain is supposed to stick around for a while too, so whether they play at all tonight will depend on whether they are willing to stick around and play a 10(ish) late night game tonight...

11-1 OAK!!! Everyone has counting stats, BUT the player I own...nice job, Siemien, you waste of roster space.

Well in some fairness, 6 of those belong to one guy.

Sounds like it's time to sub Brantley in my daily.

I hate it when stuff like that happens.  Several games this season where it's been a high scoring game and the player or two I have in the game does very little.  Maybe some of your other guys will pick up the slack.

You're welcome.

I was actually considering sitting Jose Ramirez too, but not sure if I have the stones to do that and then somehow they end up playing.  At least according to the weather forecasts I looked at just before the posts, the rain should be gone at around 10.  Like I said in that post, if things go the way they are predicting (50/50 they get this stuff right), it all depends on how much they are willing to stick around and play it late.  They don't play until 6:10 tomorrow, so having a late game wouldn't be that big of a deal.  No chance of a doubleheader getting scheduled for tomorrow as it's supposed to rain almost all day tomorrow and then stop before gametime.  Not sure if they would rather play it late tonight or play another after their 1:10 game on Sunday...
