Check out the new Rotoworld Beta Site!   11/14/2018

Rotoworld has been the industry leader in fantasy news and analysis for years, but it was time for a much-needed facelift!  While our around-the-clock, comprehensive coverage will remain the same, the new Rotoworld design will be sleeker, easier to navigate, more video-friendly and will finally be mobile-optimized.    That’s right, you can finally stop pinching the screens on your phones to read our content!  Right now we’re in the beta phase of our launch, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but we’d love for you to check out our soon-to-be new digs, and let us know what you think: https://beta.rotoworld.com.    And then please use the Contact Us button to give us feedback!

There is already a thread for Axe Elf drafted teams, over in the Assistant Coach forum.

Love the Kicker pick in the 9th, though!

That's the squad!  If you visualize it, it will happen.

So either your RB's are Michel and Cohen/C Thompson or your #2 WR is Hurns?  That's best case scenario for you?

If this is a serious exercise, you need to state what draft slot you are picking from.  Clearly not at the back of the draft as I don't see Gronk being a high second rounder and Fitz wouldn't last until the 3-4 turn in PPR.  So maybe a top 5 pick?

Are you really comfortable with your receivers being Fitz, Hurns, DJ Moore, and Geronimo Allison? Mabye if you took AB in the first.  But if you do that, then your RBs are Michel, Cohen/Thompson, Mack, John Kelly, and another Pats RB?  Yuck.

Let's say the #2/#3 spot, 12 team, PPR, a few 'falls' but trying to be as realistic as possible, within the 'dream' aspect.

1.02: LeVeon Bell

2.11: LeSean McCoy / Mike Evans

3.02: Rob Gronkowski

4.11: Jay Ajayi

5.02: Lamar Miller

6.11: Carlos Hyde

7.02: Cam Newton / Sammy Watkins

8.11: Isaiah Crowell / Kirk Cousins

9.02: Allen Hurns

10.11: Dez Bryant / Kelvin Benjamin

11.02: Marquise Lee

12.11: Danny Amendola

13.02: Tyler Lockett

14.11: HOU DEF

15.02: Terrelle Pryor

16.11: Tavon Austin

I'm using FFC ADP for mine. PPR.   Player has to be within 1 spot of me in order to assume he's still available.  I'm picking 1.04.

1.04 Ill take with Zeke of DJ here, whichever falls.  Start with an anchor RB like most teams will

2.09 Christian McCaff.  Stud RB2 for PPR.  Hope the TD numbers find a way to increase.

3.04 Josh Gordon.  My gut says Doug Baldwin, but I'm gonna gamble it up and stock pile WRs later.

4.09 Lamar Miller.  I really do like the value on this guy.  He just gets volume, and I like what this offense can do.  I want a piece of it.  Solid RB3.

5.04 Larry Fitzgerald.  I really don't understand why his ADP is this low among the FFC drafters, but if he's sitting there based on their ADP, that's where I'm snatching him.  This gives me the stability to go with Gordon.  In fact, this is likely my WR1. If Fitz isn't there however, I'm taking Golden Tate.

6.09 Kyle Rudolph.  I don't want to wait any longer at TE, and this is one of my favorite values.

7.04 Randall Cobb.  Easy choice here for a WR in a great offense.

8.09 Pierre Garcon or Goodwin.  Give me a piece of that SF passing game on the cheap. Piling up those WRs to back up the Josh Gordon gamble.

9.04 Matt Stafford.  Criminally underrated every freaking year.  Somehow always ends up as QB5-QB8.

10.09 Theo Riddick.  Not expecting much here, but Ill place the bet that he's still got weekly PPR value.

11.04 Philly D.  Love this unit.  Everyone is all over the flashy Rams and Solid Minn D...but this is the one I like.

12.09 Justin Tucker.

13.04 Dak Prescott

14.09 Anthony Miller

Championship.

QB: Stafford, Dak

RB1: Zeke/DJ

RB2: McCaff

WR1: Josh Gordon

WR2: Fitz

WR3: Cobb

TE: Rudolph

Flex: :Lamar Miller

K: Tucker

D: Philly

Goodwin/Garcon being the first off the bench.  Playing matchups with Cobb.

I don't usually do snake drafts, but I only had a short time to draft tonight, so I relented.  I think maybe I nailed the Dream Draft in the process.

10 Team PPR Best-Ball League.  I was sitting there with the #2 overall pick, all ready to take Zeke, and then the #1 pick didn't show up and autodrafted David Johnson.

Merry Christmas to me!

QB:  Andrew Luck (9) 11.2, Derek Carr (7) 13.2, Ryan Tannehill (11) 20.9

RB:  Todd Gurley (12) 1.2, Jay Ajayi (9) 4.9, Marshawn Lynch (7) 8.9, Marlon Mack (9) 9.2, Ty Montgomery (7) 14.9

WR:  Mike Evans (5) 2.9, Larry Fitzgerald (9) 3.2, T.Y. Hilton (9) 5.2, Pierre Garcon (11) 6.9, Jordy Nelson (7) 10.9, Martavis Bryant (7) 15.2

TE:  Greg Olsen (4) 7.2, Benjamin Watson (6) 17.2

K:  Detroit Lions (6) 18.9, San Francisco 49ers (11) 19.2

DST:  Jacksonville Jaguars (9) 12.9, Baltimore Ravens (10) 16.9

It's probably a better team than could be assembled in an auction draft.

While not being featured pieces, you certainly do have a lot of the Oakland offense.  Not sure if that was on purpose or not.  Frankly, that's not an offense that I'm interested in.  Are you hoping that one of Jordy/Martavis takes the Crabtree role and out performs Amari maybe?

I like the 2 defenses for best ball.  You should get a good weekly number out of Balt/Jax.

Can't say I love the QB group.  Even with the 3 of them, you might not have a single top 10 guy.  I guess you just need one of them to put up a 20 spot every week.

12 team, PPR, 2 RB-3 WR-Flex. I'll use FFC ADP but be a little more flexible and say the picks can be a max of 3 ADP slots higher (lower?) thank my pick. I'll go from the 12 pick which I really like this year.

1.12 (12)- Odell (ADP 11)

2.01 (13)- Julio (ADP 14)

3.12 (36)- Diggs (ADP 34)

4.01 (37)- Guice (ADP 35)

5.12 (60)- Dion Lewis (ADP 57)

6.01 (61)- Crabtree (ADP 63)

7.12 (84)- Burkhead (ADP 86) is he really this low?

8.01 (85)- CJ Anderson (ADP 94)

9.12 (108)- D.J Moore (ADP 110)

10.01 (109)- Stafford (ADP 107)

11.12 (132)- Jack Doyle (ADP 135)

12.01 (133)- Cam Meredith (ADP 134)

13.12 (156)- Kenneth Dixon (ADP 157)

14.01 (157)- Gostowski (ADP 159)

15.12 (180)- Carolina Defense (ADP 179)

So-

QB: Stafford

RB1: Guice

RB2: Dion Lewis

WR1: Odell

WR2: Julio

WR3: Diggs

Flex: Crabtree

TE: Jack Doyle

K: Gostowski

DST: Carolina

Bench:

Burkhead

CJ Anderson

Kenneth Dixon

D.J Moore

Cam Meredith

RB2 seems a little dicey for a standard league (only ever ppr'd though).

Like the GB double dip and the Mariota/Dak tandem.

Another Hurns believer!  I do like how you hedge with Tavon at the end.

You are basically punting WR2 and that is a strategy I like myself.

It feels like you could use an upside RB on that bench, just for the swag.

I like the squad, but waiting on TE would open up some interesting possibilities:  A QB with #1 overall potential (Cam/Wentz), another RB (seems like a big drop from what's available in the 6th to Riddick), even a WR like Fuller who can be a nasty WR3 or flex.
