Moncada or Nola? DYNASTY WHIR

Recommended Posts

10 team dynasty league I was just offered my Aaron Nola for his Yoan Moncada. Do I take this trade? My other 2B is Caesar Hernandez.

Def get Mocada he will give you another 2B to use when Hernandez has a day off, or gets injured.

It would be nice to know your roster, so as to know your pitching depth as well.  In a bubble, I think I want Nola.  But that could change depending on who your other pitchers are.

I vote Moncada.  Nola looks good, but speed/power combo guys from MI spots are hard to come by.  Moncada way too young to give up on in dynasty leagues.  His upside is greater than Nola IMO.

I'm honestly shocked at how many people are saying anything other than "Nola by far". There's absolutely no question to this one

Buxton 24, and almost everybody giving up there?

Moncada does have a high ceiling, but he has a low floor.

He looks like Buxton/Sano with all the K's and no walks.

Scouts were divided on him

Some thought he was Cano

Some thought he was a .270/15 hr guy

I would take Nola, although he's not a ace.

At this point, Nola. You know you have a top tier SP. Take Moncada and you're left hoping he turns into what people think he can be.

Take the sure thing.

I'm a White Sox fan and an owner of both players.

I value Nola much higher and sentiment around Chicago is that Moncada may never become a star. He could be a solid 2B, but solid 2B's don't win you fantasy leagues.

Keep Nola.

And help me!

Nola by a significant margin...he is a full blown ace and the only one in NL without significant risk.
