7/12 - GAME DAY THREAD

Recommended Posts

Go Kluber.  Go Severino.  Go Morton.  Go Stripling.

One of those crummy days where I have to root for Severino for one team, but hope that he doesn't do TOO well because I play against him in my other league lol.

Need Sev and Stripling to get annihilated, but good luck. I'm sure they will dominate.

Lol I would rather Sev get rocked if anything.  Need Stripling to cruise.  I would like Happ to get destroyed while we are offering ill wishes lol.

Go Scherzer, Stripling, Pivetta, and Skaags!

Sitting the latter two but still hoping they put up good performances.

Severino, Snell, Ray, Freeland, Pivetta... my guess is Sev and Snell will get rocked and Freeland and Pivetta will pitch gems. It’s Opposite Day.

Always nice to go to lunch having your pitcher cruising, to only come back and see him completely imploding.

Go McWho!  This dude came outta no where to help me win in 2014. Always been rooting for him since. Vulture win today perhaps?

Another former Mess who went to a better coached team and became good.

The rot goes all the way upstairs to the Wilpons.

I digress.

Anyway go McWho!

Morton = 1st half wonder and done.  Looks like the good times are over.

He has pitched more than 150 innings twice in his career. He debuted in 2008. He's at around 112 now so the clock's ticking.

But at this point you still have to thank him for the contribution so far this year.

Of course Robbie Ray would throw a shut out (so far) @Coors.

You know, when everyone benches him.

Yep...   we will all trot him out next time for a 3.2 / 5 ER / 5 BB performance too....

Mini implosion in comparison to Cody Allen's outing Tuesday night. See I told you I was over it.

I knew immediately the runs were coming across when they took out Ray.... ugh, no quality start and no win after 5 shutout innings.
