8/11 - GAME DAY THREAD

Recommended Posts

Might not seem like a big deal, but Dahl is sitting today along with Arenado (for Buehler owners).

Really makes no sense to sit Dahl today since he would have sat tomorrow with Hill pitching.  I'm not as smart as a baseball manager though I suppose.  There, my mini-venting out of the way now. :)

anybody rolling Skaggs out tonight vs OAK

Sí. He’s done well against the A’s and I’m up by quite a bit in ERA and WHIP. Although a 10er explosion like his last time out would surely change that lol. I had him benched until my opponent started Lester today. In a vacuum, I’m on the fence for his start tonight. I generally prescribe to the “never start a pitcher in his first start off the DL” rule. Good luck!

Julio Daniel strikes again number 36 and 102.

Those numbers look like the Season is over in two weeks.

Leaving him in my DL slot in all my leagues. If I needed K's and my ratios were already torched he'd be in there, but not risking it with little chance of a QS.

Brad Hand in relief of Trevor Bauer..That means you know who is going to close. Hand walks the first two batters on 8 pitches.

Not sure of the extent of Bauers injury.

Oh Lord please let the Indians score a few more runs because the last guy on earth I want to see is Cody Allen.

Starting to ponder if Nola may be wearing down some. Only 20 innings or less from his highest total of 168, which was last year.

Jason Kipnis can't hit a sacrifice fly with the basesloaded.

Clean out your locker Jason Kipnis. You have got to go. And take Cody Allen with you.

Wow, Skaggs looks horrible.

Might be closer to a drop than a start next time around.
