Recommended Posts

I know Jah is a hold right now, but what do you think the probability of AD comin back tomorrow, not getting traded Thursday and playing out the season is?

Poll:

Highly likely

Likely

50/50

Probably NOt

Hell NOkafor!

I'm not saying they will.  I'm saying the Pels position is, if you want this deal now, you gotta give up some extra picks.

Deals are gonna get progressively worse as AD contract end draws near.

The least likely part of that is him coming back tomorrow. I think theres a good chance he stays in NO and plays limited minutes

Can't the Celtics just submit bids like anyone else but wait until the summer to actually complete the transaction?

Obviously the risk would be someone backs out come June/July, but that's risk of doing business in a deal like that. And I'm sure it would be a black eye for the reneging party.

In any case, these cagey, cryptic "Wait until the summer" leaks from the Celtics are such BS.

"If they play AD with the team out of contention and he suffers a serious injury it could destroy the franchise's future."

How is that thinking any different from the first seven years of AD's career in New Orleans lol?

What happens when an injury like Wall's occurs outside the game?

Or any different from any team?  If the Sixers lose Embiid or Simmons, they're ******, right?  Should the Bucks rest Giannis so their franchise isn't screwed if he blows his Achilles?

Look at Oladipo.

Big mistake by the Pacers playing him this year

Dipo had a known knee issue and tried playing through it.

With the John Wall news, it appears walking around in your house may be only moderately less risky.

Not as big as playing D Rose with the game locked up.

The difference is those superstars want to stay with their teams and AD wants OUT...you want value, max value because he WILL BE dealt... it makes sense to place him on a shelf til Happy Trade Day... whether they celebrate it Thursday or this summer.

sidenote: However, the commentary has been freakin' hilarious...:D

The way the Lakers are playing, maybe LeBron should request a trade to N.O.

He should have joined NO in the first place. LBJ+AD+Jrue is quite competent.

BTW, if the Pelicans make this trade, they will be this Lakers team minus LBJ.

I dont think Lebron chose the Lakers for basketball reasons.
