I thought the same when I saw him at the free throw line lol.

Right? Is that even safe for his ACL?

I'm sure the spurs medical team would have encouraged him to lose any unnecessary mass if it weren't... (At least i hope they would have...)
He's grabbing more rebounds than I anticipated so I'm not complaining.

He has Ruptured Achilles.

Right. My bad. I wrote Achilles at first but did a double take because I thought that was just cousins.

Ruptured Achilles is less common that's why I remembered. This injury is more serious than torn ACL so I think Gay's performance thus far is very spectacular.

Does he look bigger? I thought he looked bigger.

Definitely agree that he's put on size and looks stronger than he did last year.

Motivated Rudy is wonderful. Drafted him in all my leagues in like round 12 or 13 lol

Ahh.. its great to see Rudy putting up these kind of numbers.  Back in the Memphis days he was a top 30 guy every day of the week with top 20 upside.  Glad to see him putting up numbers again, he has such a solid real life and fantasy game.

Any word that he has an injury anywhere from the leg down and dropping. He has been good but with his huge last injury he gets no leash from me being on the spurs

Rudy Gay (right heel soreness) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Magic.

This explains why Gay played just 19 minutes in Saturday's game. He had Achilles surgery two seasons ago and has dealt with various heel ailments since. He's already missed some time this season due to heel injuries and will probably be closely monitored by the Spurs moving forward. Marco Belinelli, Patty Mills, and Davis Bertans will pick up time in Gay's absence.

Im wondering if he's a drop candidate now especially with people like Crowder on the wire.

I mean, I don't know how you can say this without any details other than he's Doubtful for tonight.  Nobody knows how long he's going to be out.  He might be ready to go in the next game.

Don't drop until there is more concrete info that comes out.

But Crowder isn't on the wire, @Pirateowns him. Can't drop Rudy for Crowder if he's already owned.
