Check out the new Rotoworld Beta Site!   11/14/2018

Rotoworld has been the industry leader in fantasy news and analysis for years, but it was time for a much-needed facelift!  While our around-the-clock, comprehensive coverage will remain the same, the new Rotoworld design will be sleeker, easier to navigate, more video-friendly and will finally be mobile-optimized.    That’s right, you can finally stop pinching the screens on your phones to read our content!  Right now we’re in the beta phase of our launch, and it’s still a work-in-progress, but we’d love for you to check out our soon-to-be new digs, and let us know what you think: https://beta.rotoworld.com.    And then please use the Contact Us button to give us feedback!

Chapman may not be back

The Yankees are just being over cautious after stating Judge will be back after 3 weeks, when he was first injured.   Nothing has changed regarding Chapman’s injury.   Still no timetable

Is Robertson the Yankees closer?

As of right now, yes. Betances is second in line.

Padres activated RHP Bryan Mitchell from the 10-day disabled list.

Mitchell missed more than two months with a right elbow impingement, an injury that early on didn't appear to be one that would cost him such a big chunk of his season. He'll rejoin a bullpen that's without Brad Hand, but Kirby Yates should still keep a grip on the closer job moving forward. Mitchell, who started and pitched in relief before the injury, comes back to a 7.08 ERA and 2.03 WHIP.

probably top 10 dumbest things I have ever read from rotoworld writers

Seems to be a committee.

Yeah, but even when he wasn't used as a closer he was used as a holder.

He hasn't pitched since August 26, I believe.

I wouldn’t say that.  He was used in the 9th Friday, because Betances was unavailable.  Robertson pitched the 7th on Thursday.  Betances the 9th on, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

i think they were just giving romo an extended break .. he made 4 appearances in 5 days and made a ton of pitches last week

a whole week break?    Quite extreme, I would say.

I would definitely think its 75%-25% Robertson. However I'm sure they'll give Betances a few save opps but I think Robertson is their preferred #1 closer ATM... & with the NYY unsure if Chapman will even return thisyr Robertson becomes a potentially great pickup for the stretch run

how is he the preferred option if in the last 14 days both have 2 saves?

Not sure how you are inferring from usage that robertson is preferred when it looks objectively that Betances has been used in most end of game situations the last 2 weeks.

.Betances would've had 3 saves if not for that meltdown 2 days ago then it would be 3 to 2 in Betances for.

In the last month its 3-2 in Robertson favor which could've been 3-3(sans Betances meltdown).  At worst this is a 50-50 situation.

And one of Robertson’s saves was in a 7 inning rain shortened game, where he pitched the 7th
