Kent Bazemore 2018-2019 Season Outlook

Recommended Posts

Kent Bazemore (ankle) will not have a minutes limit for Sunday's game against the Hornets.

He will be coming off the bench behind Kevin Huerter, but head coach Lloyd Pierce stressed that he's making the move to "explore" different lineup tanking combinations. The bench demotion isn't great for Bazemore's outlook, but he's safe to activate in season-long formats.

Going to the bench may be a good thing as he's been way too passive in the starting unit with the chuckers.

20/4/5 and a block on amazing FG and the game winning shot in 25 min

I think the main problem with Baze is consistency. He’s capable of putting up these kinda lines and is just as likely to disappear next game.

Totally agree on the consistency but I didn’t understand the last few games where he didn’t have any attempts and didn’t seem involved in the offense. Very strange for a starting shooting guard

I played him in two leagues last night and benched him in two others.  Such a mistake.  Never underestimate the Bazed God.

I disagree friend. He’s a consistently productive player when his rookie coach isn’t jerking around with his minutes.

He's making fun of you because the video you linked has no correlation to a stock.

Shooting 7 for 30 over  the last three games...

Most of that was one bad shooting night. Nothing to see here. He had 4 steals tonight. His shot will fall soon enough. He’s still shooting a great fg% on the year. All hail the bazed god.

and I know how to jinx things apparently

Taurean Prince was taken to the locker room during the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Warriors after suffering an apparent left ankle injury.

Prince tallied 14 points and three assists prior to his departure with 7:19 remaining, and with the Hawks trailing Golden State by a significant margin at the time a return to action appears unlikely. Kent Bazemore replaced Prince in the lineup as a result of the injury.
