Avery Bradley 2018-2019 Season Outlook

Recommended Posts

Picked up Avery in the late rounds in my 20 team league's drafts and he is barely rosterable as of right now. I thought he would be a great value pick that late but isn't looking too promising. In the past, he has been a decent source of points, steals and 3s to an extent. Do any of yall see a reason to be optimistic for Avery's ROS outlook?

He sucked last year. I'm not sure what it is, but at some point we may have to come the realization that Bradley's success was isolated to Stevens. He's just not it. Even in Detroit, his efficiency sucked.

I was high on him too during the draft but there's little reason for optimism now. I'm starting to think his career year a few years ago in Boston was the product of a depleted team around him, if I remember correctly. LAC actually has some decent depth at guard this year.

In 20 team league, you probably need to hold, but in 12's or 14's even you can probably safely drop and monitor him from the WW.

This guy fell off so hard lmao. How do you manage to average 4/2/1 in 28 minutes??

Maybe for deep benches or 14+ team leagues? I was looking at him as my 12 teamer has deep benches. He's played 33, 33 and 32 min the last three games and 28 on the season. I guess Doc loves him for his defense and he seems locked into minutes. He'd be the pickup of the year if he somehow returned to 2016-17 Avery Bradley form lol Kinda ridiculous that he's shooting so badly though I guess it's only a 13 game sample on the year. Anyway, I'm keeping a close eye on him!

Same here, but so far hasn’t shown enough to warrant a pickup.

Put up another gem of a line lol 29 min 0 points, 2 rebounds, shot 0-7. 2 blocks though! How do you play so many minutes and just suck so bad?! I mean I don't watch the games at all so I guess he must still make an impact in real life as Doc just keeps rolling him out there haha but man how do you just completely forget how to shoot! I had this guy rostered in 2016-17 and he was pretty awesome.

He is defensive specialist only. No need to get him looks as Clippers have huge amount of offensive talent and project in SGA to feed. Harris, Gallo, Harrell, Lou and even those scrub centers before him. Even Beverley is better because he can drop that 3 point shot.

Bradley can focus on D. The most definitive defensive player in the league.

For a guy so focused on Defense you'd think he'd average 2+ steals and a block or something! This guy doesn't even average 1 steal!. He is complete and utter trash fantasy wise.

Remember when this cat was pulling down 6 rbs a game with Boston!! Just shows how focussed the Celtics are on team rebounding. I really like their collective rebounding, literally the only thing about the Celtics you'll ever hear me admit I like...

Bradley is starting to round into form. Could be a nice glue guy if he can get that FG% back to a respectable level

I'm not, but in the leagues I grabbed him in yesterday for today and tomorrow's back to back, I'm gonna have to think long and hard about dropping tomorrow morning.
