Hasn’t pitched in a game since May 5th. What’s the deal?

And he struck out the side in that one-inning appearance. Maybe with the Urias situation he'll get more action?

Yeah really, what is up here? Throwing side sessions to keep stretched or something...or Roberts just being himself and moth balling one of his best pitchers?

I would take a few holds at this point while we wait for some spot starts.

I picked him up as mainly a sp down the line stash, but his usage has been totally brutal at this point. I almost want to throw him back out there for someone who can make an impact immediately but I'm going to hold for now. He is still owned at 56% on Yahoo. Someone is bound to get injured in this rotation again eventually.

Honestly, I think I'd be a little irritated if I were him. They move him to the pen and then they're not even using him out of the pen.

Doing Dodgers things.  This might be 1 turn in the rotation for Ross.

I don't even know about that...

"The Dodgers, meanwhile, don’t need a fifth starter until May 28 thanks to Thursday’s off-day and two more scheduled off days during their three-city, eight-game, 10-day road trip. Rich Hill, Walker Buehler, and Hyun-Jin Ryu are slated to start against the Reds this weekend. That leaves Clayton Kershaw as the likely starter Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays."

Wonder if Strip can get a few cheap wins as a long reliever when a starter can't get through five and the Dodgers have the lead.  Strip would likely be the first out of the pen.

Just send the guy to the minors at this point, it’s been two weeks now with plenty of opportunities to give him at least an inning.

No.

Maeda is "injured" because the Dodgers have a light schedule coming up and can skip him in the rotation.

A team not throwing one of their better pitchers? Those scoundrels!

He did get some action tonight (1IP/1H/0ER). He's looking like a must-drop pretty soon - he has no role on this team.

He was scheduled to bat top 9th - I was surprised they took him out since it had been ages plus they were up by 6. If they wanted to keep him "ready/able" they'd have ran him out bottom of the 9th imo.

I believe they're bumping it back up to a 15-day minimum injury-list stint (with exceptions still made for concussions, which will continue to get a 7 day minimum) next season.
