Ronald Acuna 2019 Outlook

Oh, and here's what Acuña has done over his last 58 games, projected to 162 games (hope that makes sense).

.311 / .389 / .578

54 homers

115 RBI

162 R

54 SB

So Acuña is either #1 or #2 in your keeper/dynasty league along with Trout and he's going to go #3 in redraft leagues next year behind Trout and Yelich.

That is why I haven't been able to get him. Offered Yelich + for his Acuna +... kid's a stud.

After that second tweet, he hit career HR #58.

So he has no chance of catching Ott?  😔

Both Juan Soto and Tatis Jr have a shot at getting there this season too. Tons of ridiculous young talent in MLB right now

Imagine if his ACL wasn’t made of god steel and he tore it last season in the knee injury. Good thing he’s superhuman

I believe this is the closest guy to Mike Trout we will see for a bit. He continues to amaze with every home run he hits or every base he steals. I can only imagine what it would take to acquire this stud in dynasty leagues.

I have him for the next 5 yrs and I wouldn’t trade him for anybody. Maybe Trout but it wouldn’t be straight up. Just stay healthy Ron.

I like how Mike Trout fell to me at the 8th spot in my redraft... Wait I mean Ronald Acuña.

This dude is unreal.

He should go #1 or #2, in my opinion.

Acuna is the highest rated 5x5 hitter now.  He’s got a good shot at 40/40.  Trouts not running.  He can, but he’s not.  Next year you’ll see acuna go 1.1 in many drafts

Didn't expect people to see him as #1 already. Even with being a Braves homer, I'd have a hard time picking him over Trout. You know you're getting a top 5 player for sure with Trout, hard to get that guarantee from anyone else at this point.

He could very easily be NL MVP after winning the ROY last year. Only 4 players have managed that feat (Kris Bryant, Ryan Howard, Dustin Pedroia and Cal Ripken Jr.)

Its worth noting that both Fred Lynn and Ichiro Suzuki won both the ROY and the MVP in the SAME season.

He’s first in the NL in Hits, Runs and SB. Fourth in HR and ninth in RBI.

101 runs! 8 behind Mookie Betts for MLB lead. Average is at .299.  He just became the 6th player in MLB history to have 60 career home runs before turning 22.  K-rate is at 24.4% compared to 25.3% from last year and BB rate is up to 9.9% from 9.2% yesterday.  Does he have any weaknesses really? Not like you can avoid pitching to him with a pretty stacked 1-4 for the Braves.
