ROS Breakouts

Recommended Posts

So the season is in full swing and good players have already been identified.

What about those gems in soon-to-be tanking teams?

Some of those could be:

Atlanta

DeAndre Bembry

Omari Spellman

Cleveland

Ante Zizic

New York

Mitchell Robinson

Washington

Tomas Satoransky

Thomas Bryant

Phoenix

Elie Okobo

Nwaba interesting, you really think he can keep it up? I just scooped him up in 18 team league, he was ablt to shut down James Harden when he guarded him yesterday

Data is incomplete this season, so we have no idea what the Cavs will do as an organization. In true tank mode, Nwaba can play a key role.

I love Nwaba since his stint on the Lakers. He carves out a role with pure hustle wherever he goes. He isn't much of a shooter, but very good at defense. We are talking potentially elite steals if he gets minutes.

Now you look over the Cavs guard/wing positions, and see some dead wood. I'm not saying there are any guarantees, but I do like the odds.

One last thing. I read that Sexton has been helped since Nwaba was inserted into the starting 5, as Nwaba guards the opposing team's best player. He guarded LeBron, in a game they lost that was closer than it should have been. Then Jimmy Butler, in a win, then Harden, in another win.

If he makes Sexton look good, they have good incentive to keep running Nwaba out there with him.

Nwaba +1

SGA

Allonzo Trier

kelly Oubre Jr.

Bam Adebayo

Agree on SGA

Bam maybe if they make a big change

Trier is a complete crapshoot. Came in on a 2-way contract. I love him when he is on, but the Knicks are a mess coaching-wise. Too many guards, and coach favors the wrong ones.

adding De'Anthony Melton to the above list...

+ possibly Jaron Blossomgame (very deep leagues)

+ Kevin Huerter (Hawks)

+ Rodion Kurucs (Nets)

Kennard and Blossomgame are intriguing. I’m making the add if Avery drops another dud tomorrow. It’s a shame he can’t do more with the minutes he’s getting.

SGA - man, this kid is good. a lot of upside. plus, he's now the starting pg of clippers.

Mikal Bridges - he's building confidence with his shots. additionally, a good defender imo. 3s and stls are good

Kevin Huerter - his versatility is intriguing. can get rebs, can pass the ball, etc.

Collin Sexton - as hard as it is for me to admit, this rookie is ballin'. like SGA, he got the starter spot. he can make shots, but he needs to improve his playmaking bigtime

Bam Adebayos got huge upside for builds punting ft%. Double double threat +2 stocks if whiteside sits

Bam's doesn't require punting...

FT's not bad at all...

That`s very, very big IF. I prefer "if Whiteside is traded".

By the way, Bam-Bam is .721% career FT shooter - better than some starting PGs in today`s NBA.
