Darrel Williams 2018 Outlook

Recommended Posts

Williams also had an opportunity to show off ability to avoid tackles in the open field. He’s got some of that elusiveness and speed to his game. Plays like this are certainly reminiscent of some of the big play potential Hunt has sported during his career with the Chiefs.

Personally, I’m staying away from Damien and scooping all shares of Darrel. Just a personal preference.

Strong pass. With weapons like Mahomes, Hill, Kelce, and Watkins This will be a pass first....pass second team.

I picked him up in a bunch of dynasties.  He was a solid prospect at LSU, Ware could be gone next year, and maybe the Hunt suspension drags on into next year.  Worth the speculative add in deeper dynasty leagues.

I picked him up. Who knows, Spencer ware could get hurt next week with all the rust.

Ware has been getting limited work in games here and there, similar to what any backup to a bellcow would get, i don't see anything to worry about here

OK, fully on board here...

Found this nugget from before the draft:

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline believes that LSU RB Darrel Williams could be this year's Kareem Hunt.

Wow. Williams didn't get a chance to shine playing being Jaguars star RB Leonard Fournette and likely first-round pick Derrius Guice, but he has shown flashes of brilliance in his time at LSU, and he received positive reviews at the Senior Bowl. "He’s a big-bodied back with a tremendous burst and great short-area quickness. Besides grinding on the inside, Williams shows the ability to pick up big yardage from the line of scrimmage," Pauline writes. "Williams could be the Kareem Hunt of 2018."

Who cares about this dude.

Unless my waiver claim goes through. Then he is RB1 ROS.

If Ware went down it'd probably be a committee between the two Williams' but I would rather take the shot at the unknown that is Darrel Williams than the known uninspiring Damien Williams.
