Isn’t that around what he is projected to hit?

Gotcha. I figured as much when I went back and read the previous posts.

Collided with the LF wall, obviously in pain after it but stayed in to finish the inning. He's been removed now though. Something to monitor, the fact that he didn't come out immediately seems like it's probably precautionary

Is he always this streaky? This is my first time owning him but he has been putrid the past 3 weeks and that's not even taking into account the hip injury. Who knows how long that will effect his power

When you look at a .250-ish 40+ homer guy and a .280-ish 30 homer guy, the former is going to seem streakier because he's not getting as many counting stats in between dongs, even though he's hitting more of them.  Sluggers like Davis are by definition "streaky", because so much of their value in roto is tied to homers, and homers are relatively rare events that are unlikely to be distributed evenly across a season.  You're going to get natural runs of them in any given season.  Just set it and forget it and enjoy the production -- don't try to time the streaks, because you probably won't.

I tend to like streaky players, bench em when cold and replace with a hot hitter off your bench.

.243 on the early ish year, he could hit .247 again this year which would make mathematicians heads explode

Did he get pulled from the game today?

Khris Davis was removed from Tuesday night's game against the Indians with an apparent injury.

Davis has been trying to play through a hip issue for the last couple of weeks, but he grimaced after fouling a ball off in the top of the first inning Tuesday before grounding out to shortstop on a very tentative swing. Mark Canha took over as the A's designated hitter in the top of the third. It's probably inevitable now that Davis lands on the injured list, something he had been hoping to avoid.

These idiots. Why didn't they just put him on the DL in the first place? And don't put him in the outfield!

Exactly...It’s surprising how often injuries are mismanaged in MLB and the NFL at times that result in reinjury or compensatory injuries.
