He's had a couple beautiful defensive plays too that he wouldn't be able to pull off it he weren't 100%

Quietly raking with a 16 game hit streak and flashing power lately. Creeping up the rankings. Looking good.

Batting .300+ with 8 homers so far. That’s nice. SS is surprisingly strong this year though.

I’ve had a share every year. I told myself I wouldn’t this year but he fell to me in the 5th round. I’m quite happy with the return thus far.

Same spot I got him. 51st pick. Felt right. Sucks watching polanco and dejong tear it up though. SS was the position to wait on in the draft this year. Or at least going into May so far. A lot changes after the all star break.

If we get 150+ out of Correa I’m happy to have him over those guys.

it is but I feel like he's just getting warmed up - I feel he has a level to get to that we haven't seen yet.  He's getting better by the week.  I feel he could end up being a top 50 player!

Agreed!  He's still 24.

You don’t miss a few weeks over sore ribs. Something must be broken

Wasn't it ribs last year without a break?

I didn’t own him so I’m not sure honestly. That sucks though.

The teams being oddly quiet and pretty vague about this one.  All I can gather is that’s he was fine, went home for a day and got his own “treatment” there, whatever the hell that means.  Now his ribs are “sore”.   No mention of anything baseball related to injure it.  They were much more informative on Altuve.  So pretty much, this ranges from “back by the weekend” to “out for the year”.  If it’s the ladder, I’d rather he didn’t play at all then read the dreaded “the astros believe the injury affected his swing” after 2 months of .215 baseball. But that’s just fear mongering on my part.

Let's pump the breaks on the doom and gloom comments until we hear more about this. The blanket statement that Hinch made about the injuries to both Correa and Altuve not being something that should linger more than a couple weeks seems to point more toward Altuve and his knee issues than it does to Correa imo.
