Yes because the Giants looked so good in week 1. Stupid OBJ was holding them back. Good call

No one was expecting the Giants to be good this year.. and defintiely not vs a super bowl contender. Josh Allen and Sam Darnold dude you're making me laugh, Josh Allen can't make one intermediate throw he has potential and raw talent wonderful... Give me Jones, Saquon, Lawerence over those few combinations you made. Giants probably won't be very good this year again best case scenario a 7-9 team they still need another full draft.. If they get another top ten pick they should trade down and load up on more or less just defense. You obviously don't know much about the Giants, Gentlemen and Shurmur are not on the hot seat this year at all next year after one more draft Mara is going to want to see some legit improvement.

That was more or less directed to all the posts you've made in this thread felt tedious quoting every silly statement made on your part so picked one at random... Thanks though.

Well, let's revisit this:

1) Daniel Jones >>> Sam Darnold. Darnold now has mono, is off to a horrendous start in Year 2, was dreadful in Year 1, and was dreadful his final year at USC. He has been a bad QB for a couple years now. Daniel Jones, meanwhile, has a much more promising future than Darnold. Jones currently holds more value than Darnold based on Darnold's horrible play and Jones' incredible preseason showing every trait you look for in a Franchise QB.

2) Saquon Barkley >>> Josh Allen. Saquon is a future 1st ballot HOFer - no questions asked. Perennial All-Pro. Josh Allen at this point is a one trick pony (outside speed rush) with no countermoves. Finesse rusher.

3) OBJ....what more needs to be said about this guy? He goes to Cleveland, they get hyped up all off-season....and get trounced 42-13 at home. Everywhere OBJ goes, his team loses. The dude is a curse. All OBJ does is...lose. He didn't win in high school, didn't win at LSU, didn't win with the Giants, and won't win with the Browns. Plus, he is still causing distractions. Giants removed a headache and got a haul in return.

You: 0-for-3

Gettleman and the Giants: 3-for-3. Made the correct move every step of the way.

Giants are doing everything right. Everything.

You sound like an idiot.

Barkley looks to be a generational talent.

Yet he was STILL the wrong pick. Chubb or Nelson was the move. It’s absolutely nothing to do with Barkley rather the NFL landscape. You don’t need an elite RB to win and their peak is ridiculously short. Their value is clearly demonstrated by good teams refusing to pay them.

Gettleman really showing the NFL how it's done!

Giants are Saquon Barkley and a pile of trash.

Could you imagine this team if Saquon missed any time? They're ruining the prime years of a special player. It's a shame.

First time Saquon owner.

Is it just me or he's not getting any garbag tim work. It's all Engram. Also I expectd more recpetins for Saquon. Is this normal?

Why would the Giants run a generational talent into the ground in a year where they probably don't expect to win anything?

Once they get back Shepard and Tate and Jones is named starter he'll be fine. Until then we'll probably have to suffer through low end RB1 numbers.

That being said, all the other stud RBs have question marks now except Zeke.

The correct call would have been THE REAL Josh Allen... #17 for the Buffalo Bills.

Saquon is second in the league in rushing so far (38 yards behind Cook).

This guy is unreal talent wise. So much acceleration. He makes defenders look like they are playing in slow motion. Imagine him on a good team!

Giants may be making a switch at QB this week. If Daniel Jones is named the starter things could improve or it could get real ugly if he isn't ready and teams can stack the box even more than they already were before.

I'd post this in the Eli Manning thread but anyone that rosterred Eli Manning is probably eliminated from playoff contention anyway.

Can't get worse than Eli at this point. Worst starting QB in football in 2019. At least Jones would provide a run threat and maybe they can run some RPOs.

Not even close to being the worst. Have you watched Cam Newton, Mitch Trubisky, Joe Flacco, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Jameis Winston? Eli faced two Top 5-caliber defenses to start the season. Quit being a delusional Eli hater. He's played without his #1 and #2 WRs.

Eli has the worst defense in the league. What does the Giants 32nd ranked Defense (7 Touchowns allowed in 10 1st-half possessions) have anything to do with Eli? Or their 32nd ranked WR corps? Eli is throwing to Cody Latimer and Bennie Fowler as his #1 and #2

Giants are not making a switch at QB. QB has nothing to do with their 32nd ranked Defense and 32nd ranked WR corps.

This is so dumb. How is this Eli fault? Seems like coaches are trying to cover their a**. The Giants started Fowler, Latimer and TJ friggin Jones at WR. How about letting Eli at least have the chance to play with Tate, Shep, Engram and Barkley. Oh, and how about the Giants fix their awful defense. Their secondary is getting burned and the defensive line has no pass rush. Don't even think about a turnover from this defense. They are getting zero on special teams but yet, changing the QB is the answer? I can't count the number of times, the Giants have started within their own 20.

As a Giants fan, why would I want our future QB exposed to this atrocity right now?

Eli haters are mentally challenged.

32nd ranked Defense in football + 32nd ranked WR corps in football = QB's fault!

The level of stupidity has reached new heights. These people don't have a clue about football.

Can't believe how bad the Giants are. Giving the best RB in the game 15 touches is a joke.

is he though?

honestly you can't tell me after one season that he's the best RB in the league. Let's not disrespect the other top guys who have been doing it for seasons.

Why wear him out when your season is already boned?

If CMC and Kamara weren’t having troubles of their own, I’d regret taking Saquon #1. As it is, I’m ok with it. For now. But damn.
