So the RW blurb mentions the cramps.  Then they say it's his back acting up.  My other app notification said ankle injury.  Sounds like probably much ado about nothing.  But would have been nice to grab Bonnafon just in case as he could be a leeg winner.

I know you are just funnin around but I love that league winner is just a synonym nowadays for "guy I just picked up off free agents"

Any concern?

Or typical rest day?

Not yet.  I'm getting in the habit of ignoring practice reports until Friday.  If CMC is limited or sits out on Friday, that's the time to be concerned.

I really don't like when the replies for my top player's thread gets "HOT!" unless the player is already hurt or in a bad situation, meaning the news is likely good (i.e. Barkley). So if you could please avoid giving me a heart attack in the future, that would be great!

Thanks,
Idoolittle

Saw a replay of his backflip into the end zone.   Landed on his tailbone it seems. This took place very early in the game and did nothing to show ill effects the rest of the way as he absolutely exploded until he was pulled late for strictly cramps.   I truly believe this is a deserved rest day and he will get the proper treatment needed for the game in London.  This beast will be ready to rock come game time.  Starting with full confidence!!

I'd be totally happy if they limited his touches this week.   For healing purposes.

Yeah I think he’s fine but I made sure to scoop Reggie and will hold ROS at this point of the season.

But to brighten it up, CMC is making fantasy fun again for me. Truly special.

Just did the same, losing CMC without having Reggie would be devastating.

No, I've read in several places now which recommended Bonnafon as a handcuff because he would be a leeg winner if there were a CMC injury.  Obviously not every handcuff would be a league winner.  Alexander Mattison, yes.  Ty Montgomery, not so much.

It sounds like this is just a vet maintenance day, so unfortunately those that play CMC this week probably will not be benefitting.

So CMC for 20 touches, 143 total yards, and 3 TD’s.

Still seems like too much to pile on him after last week.  I'm thinking maybe half the touches.  No goalline work.  No passing work.

Still...he's running 80 yards.   Trust me when I say that I don't need him getting more than 10 touches.  Ideally, for me, they start him but then pull him after the first series.

Why is that ideal for you? So he gets more rest, then has his bye??

I don't care how much he plays after this week.   Run him for all he's worth.  Then revisit around week 15 and 16.
