Derrick Henry 2019 Outlook

Well if you take away TD's from every player things will start looking dicey... so I won't go there. But he had 3.3 pts in my standard league , which in reality is basically the same thing as player getting 5 pts , both are bad outcomes. For argument sake , CMC has had a 5.3 game , Kamara 2x 6 point games , obviously Henry is not on the same level as these two but you get my meaning. Oh and earlier I said only Cook hasn't had a bad game, I was mistaken ... Zeek so far has been bullet proof also.

Point me to Chubbs bad game.

Quiet in here.

90 yards and a TD, even chipped in a reception for 18 yards.

Henry needs more pitches and dump offs. He's a force running through the line but in space there's really no stopping him

Hard to say something when the beast feasted today...

Mostly pleased with Tannehill.  He looked somewhat serviceable which is light years beyond Mariota.

On point , competent QB play is the biggest factor in Henry’s success

The Chargers are kind of a mess defensively now without Derwin James.

Still, it's the first time the Titans have had a QB go above 300 yards all season!  That's worth something.  They had what appeared to be a competent offense today.

He’s a sit for me this week. I’m fortunate to have other options. But the TB front is no joke.

Oh man this gif.  I can't even fathom what his teammates are thinking watching this.  Just look at 12's face.

That's Chris Godwin, the legend.

It never gets easier seeing that gif does it.
You'd have thought by now it'd have less of a cringe factor but if anything it's worse.

It's compounded for me by a quote from Dirk Koetter in the Hard Knocks of 2017, where he is telling someone that Jameis Winston's leadership ability gives him 'chills'. In a positive way.

Shudder. Negative chills for me.

As much as this guy has been talked about in seasons past, he's so boring this year. Ploddy, not busting any big runs, just a goal line big back that doesn't scare you if he's in your opponents lineup.

I'm still confident. Once this passing game gets going, which certainly started last week, the holes will open up.

Not so, here is the list of Runs of 15+ yards among RBs:

Cook -12

Chubb -9

McCoy -8

Fournette -8

Henry -7

Well I meant in terms of his usual 80+ TD run. At the end of the day the 15-25 yard run is 1.5 points-2.5 points.

Now that he's featured is he no longer capable of getting those big chunk touchdowns?

He had a 75 yard screen pass for a TD.

Not good enough for ya?

I guess you'd like a few more 80+ yard TD plays?

Sweet jezuz.  I may have to reconsider my RB options for the week.  That is rough.

This is just the time when you out smart yourself and sit this monster because of a matchup.

I really don't get why people complain about him, finally getting the volume he deserves...maybe because where I have him is not PPR it is more obv how solid he is? He is the 9th overall scorer amongst RB, WR and TEs for me. Killer for what his draft cost was.
