O.J. Howard 2019 Outlook

Total disappointment. Hardly a look ever. Just horrible.

This is horrible advice IMO... I get you feel that way but if someone drafted Howard they obviously liked him -- changing tune so drastically after 1 week is crazy.

Brate had 2 targets and 8 yards. The concern about him is so overblown.

Checking back in to see if you dropped him yet

I'd rather hold another bench guy then roll out this bum. Shoot I'd rather roll out brate, he has better chance of a td

Arians is as good as a HC for fantasy TEs as Nagy is for RBs. Waste of a 6th round pick - and I thought I was getting a steal in that round 🤦🏻‍♂️

Taking a victory lap after week 1?

Hahaha.

Guess who had 20 more yards than OJ? George freaking kittle.

Victory lap? More like a victory marathon!

Do you expect the offense to look that bad going forward?

No, just OJ

Can you please provide some context for us? How did OJ look today?

How about last week? How did he look when Tampa Bay put up 55 points???

For a guy that supposedly watched the game it's funny you don't mention those penalties on his 2 "TDs" were on the same drive, so he would have had 1 TD, not two.

Howard was also targeted in the red zone 1 time. (Brate had 2 RZ targets that dont count).

Again none of this is new, Brate has been on the team all along. Week 1 should not change your opinion on Howard.

How about weeks 2, 3, 4, and 5? Should any of those change your opinion?

Traded him before last week, had a very good late rounder as backup due to his injury history... Yup, i moved on... Making the call 2 weeks into the year is too early... Brate isn't the problem (1 target today) but he's not producing and was happy to move on with a better option.

If he got cut, I'd add him to my bench and wait, but I'm not starting him.

You miss in some guys in the draft... But if you are cutting a 6th round pick 2 weeks in and not do to injury you should have never drafted him. Very disappointing year for him so far and no playable.

Do you think there is actually any way he turns it around?  I feel like as long as Arians is the coach OJ is just a blocker.  I honestly don’t even think he’s worth a bench spot anymore, especially with the big bye weeks still to come.

I just don't see Brate or OJ doing much with Arians.

I expect him to get at least three touchdowns this year. If they come in one game, will anything change going forward?
